Women may soon have the opportunity to take a female version of Viagra. Clinical trials have just wrapped up on an anti-depressant type drug that is said to have a sexual desire boosting quality. The miracle drug, flibanserin has not been approved yet, but the drug's manufacturer Boehringer Ingleheim is hoping the FDA will approve it after the latest clinical trial results.
Flibanserin is said to help women who are suffering from a condition known as hypoactive sexual desire disorder, basically a woman has little to no sex drive. Women of all ages report they suffer from lack of sexual desire. This condition is not always seen as a real medical problem but more as a relationship problem. Doctors also attribute a low sex drive to hormonal imbalances, depression and stress.
Michael L. Krychman of the Hoag Hospital in California led the research that involved 1,378 participants over a 24 week period. All the women in the trial were distressed about their low sexual desire. 18 percent of the women who took flibanserin reported positive results. They were able to get over their sexual distress and have a more enjoyable and satisfying sexual experience. About one fifth of the women who were given a placebo reported the same results. A second study reported women noticed an increased sexual desire in just four weeks. The studies indicated the side effects to the drug were mild and included dizziness, tiredness, nausea and insomnia. If the FDA approves the drug, it may be available by the end of the year.

Hope this new drug will be cheap enough that the strippers without insurance can afford it.

"Dizzy, tired, nauseous, unable to sleep, blind, deaf", they created a drug for being married?
Just to prove a point, if you visit strip clubs for 2 or 3 days in a row, do you really have as much desire to visit another strip club the following day or two? I certainly would not.
