Walk this way

So you and your dancer are on the “walk of shame” back to the LD/VIP/CR, how do you do it? Follow behind her so you can stare at her ass, hold hands, walk arm in arm, put your arm around her waist (and cop a feel on the way) or what?

Personally I like the girls who lead you back by the hand with a nice smile on their face. (My favorite, however, was the girl who grabbed my dick johnson (through my pants) and led me to the back that way).

I had one "super desperate" gal attempt to physically pull me, by the wrist, off my seat at the bar 3 times in succession. My crime? I gave a friendly smile when she was on stage.

Why do you call the walk to the VIP the "walk of shame"??? I always thought that referred to the return trip to your table with an obvious big wet spot on your pants...

Anyway, I like a dancer who confidently walks ahead, swaying her hips, knowing that you are following behind enjoying the view.

One of the things I like about Bogart's in Detroit is the club layout. The bar bends around at the left end, creating a small area where maybe 3-4 people can sit behind the bar and see the entire room looking forward, including the approach to the raised VIP which is only a few feet away. If that area is full there are tables along the wall just under the VIP area. Anyway, you can watch the dancers working the room, and when they make a sale, you can watch them head upstairs with their customers. The bar and tables are quite close together, so walking side by side is not an option. I think you can learn a lot about the dancers by watching the way they take a guy to the VIP:

    1. The really confident and professional ones will stride ahead, making eye contact and smiling at the men they pass, as if to say "honey, this could be you I'm gonna be doin' in a minute. Eat your heart out. But I'll be back soon." You can tell they're comfortable with what they do, maybe even enjoy it a lot - or at least know their jobs well enough to understand what they're selling.

    2. Then there are the ones who seem shy or embarrassed - like they don't want to make eye contact on the way... like it is a "walk of shame" for them. I always think how stupid they are, missing the opportunity to advertise themselves along the way.

    3. Some are obviously distracted, checking their cell phones for messages - again, just stupid.

    4. Some are obviously insecure, like they got the guy to agree to head back but they're not sure he'll walk past the other women without stopping. Some regulars will pause along the way to speak with or embrace other dancers, making the first dancer very nervous. I'm always amused when I see a dancer grab the guy's hand and haul him along.

    HEY!

That was The Coliseum in Detroit. Evidently she was a lioness and I was an early Christian there for the chewing. But at $25 per dance I wasn't in too giving of a mood. Cheaper beer prices there though than most Motown clubs.

Maybe it’s just me, but I’m always a little self conscious walking to the back in an obvious state of arousal. No such problem on the return trek, however, during which I usually strut back to my seat like Vince McMahon on RAW, wet spot be damned.

Then you'd really like the Coliseum, Steve. It's caverness, with the lap dance area at the far end. It's a very obvious sight when a gal has "hooked one", and with the stadium seating on the sides, you could hoist your arms into the air and let out a William Wallace "Freedom!!!!" as you make your way back across the battlefield to your seat.

If walking with wood is a problem, wear a jacket or something to cover it up. I'd hope others were staring at the strippers and not the customers.

Next time you ever feel self conscious about the walk, I've seen customers with walkers and wheelchairs have to make it up 2 or 3 stairs to get to a lap dance room, now that is self conciousness.

I like at the dreamgirls VIP they have these spiral stairs and when you are following the dancer upstairs you face is level with her ass the whole time. Nice view!

Well thanks steve!!! Never thought about it at all in the past, but now I'll see what everyone does. Thanks! :)

Spy, that's exactly where I like to sit!

A gentleman is always lower than the lady on stairs in case she should fall. At Omars in Lansing, the VIP is upstairs. You have an entire flight of stares, I mean, stairs to climb. It's a nice preview of things to come.

I proffer my arm if I can. I love it when a girl grabs my arm and moves in close as she escorts me to the VIP booth. Sometimes the girl is way ahead of me, so yeah, I stare at that ass pondering the possibilities.

As for walking out with wood, I always take my time leaving and let the swelling subside.

For some of us that are older the wood subsides pretty quickly. Girl can get me pretty worked up bar side or table side. But can't remember the last time I walked to/from a lap dance room, whatever with wood.

Of course the best case scenario is when the girl has made me cum.

Getting back to the original topic if it's a girl I know I follow her lead but generally like to be connected. Arm around her with hand on her ass is my preference but holding hands works too.

If it's a stranger than I'm perfectly fine following and checking out the ass. Some of these girls take off like a rocket, trying to maximize dance opportunities I guess.

the idea that being aroused in a strip club would be embarrassing seems pretty silly to me. More embarrassing not be be aroused.

"Some of these girls take off like a rocket"

You can say that again. I'm tall with long legs, and sometimes I can barely keep up with them...lol... I've noticed that sometimes I get the weirdest looks from both other dancers & customers while I'm on my way back for a LD. At one club up in Quebec (Hill Top), the other dancers seemed downright hostile that I wasn't going in the back with them I guess.

I usually walk with my arm around her waist. In the case of the ATF, that waist is usually around shoulder height. LOL!

MisterGay: " I get the weirdest looks from both other dancers & customers while I'm on my way back for a LD. "

Not too often they get to see a flamboyant, flaming faggot such as yourself in a strip club, I guess.

I like it when the dancer puts her arm around my waist and walks me back. Second choice would be her ahead, with a great ass view. Least desired are the ones racing back there like a filly out of the gate.

I cannot stand to be lead, hand in hand to get a LD. They usually try it, but i drop their hand fairly quick as I feel like a little boy being lead by his mother. I am a grown man, I can walk myself where I WANT to go.

It's a mood thing. Simetimes I'm chatting up a dancer beforehand and really having fun, so I'll walk back with my arm around her waste.

Some others, especialaly firt-timers, like to take your hand and literally guide you back there, walking ahead with you in tow and that ass swaying...I'll go along with that, it's my kind of view.

If its my ATF, I say let's go and I lead her back, but always pausing to let her enter first.

Steve: "strut back like Vince McMahon"...LOL.

CTQWERTY: I'm thinking about trying the Coliseum on an upcoming Detroit roadtrip. I would ordinarily just stick with Bogarts or Flight Club since they are more easily accessible after a long drive. But would it be worth it for me to make the longer drive up to the Coliseum? Is it open afternoons? (Curiousity, looking for a sure thing, whatever.)

GK, Superdude pointed me to The Coliseum's website for a free door pass (also has a buy-one, get-one-free lunch offer as well!) Someone else mentioned The Landing Strip also has a free door pass on their website. The best (at least last time I was there) was The Penthouse up on 8 Mile Rd. (or just down the street from The Coliseum.) www.StripClubList.com has a coupon for a free admit, but I don't know whether or not Penthouse will honor it? I'd call Penthouse and ask. ALSO ask whether they'll honor competitor's coupon's--if so, print out a stack of Coliseum free admits and try to use them at any Detroit club (why not? Saves money for over-priced drinks and/or booths!) StripClubList.com also has a free "VIP Pass" for Le Chambre-- so that's another option to print out a bunch of and see whether other clubs will honor it.

I'm still searching for a free admit to the new Larry Flint Hustler Club in Lincoln Park. Has anyone found one on the internet?

Personally, I'm not as big of a fan of The Coliseum as others apparently are. It's very upscale and worth checking out once, but I found the dancers to be on the young/probably inexperienced side. Rather after Penthouse, I liked Tycoon's (also on 8 Mile Rd.) It's smaller, somewhat upscale, and if you're at the bar, not a big production to the entire room to make the short trek to the VIP dance area (individual booths with curtains for doors.) Tycoon's can have a bunch of average-looking dancers on duty (so, like many Detroit clubs, it's hit-and-miss.) But I definitely HIT on a Thursday night there! Friday night was too crowded to be any good for a guy. Never tried a Saturday night.

Yep, Coliseum is hit or miss. I have used the free pass, which they honor and it takes some of the sting out of a bad trip. On the more important issue: Walking behind her into the VIP is a joy, until she turns and tells you to pay the bouncer for admission to the Zone. In the beginning of this foolishness, it was the dancer's obligation to tip the VIP bouncer. That tip was quickly passed to the customer and upped from $5 to whatever. So those swaying hips and phoney caresses are part of getting us to pay--so we do.

SD, will the other clubs on 8 Mile honor The Coliseum free pass? I only ask because at Outer Limits last weekend, they said they not only honor all competitors' free passes, but also take the one from www.stripclublist.com. I was happily surprised.

We could say the dancer tipping the VIP bouncer is like any tax on a business. The business always passes it on to the customer. Now here's a question--has anyhone ever negotiated VIP/POP that acknowledges dancer will take care of the bouncer out of those funds rather than ask you to do it afterwards?

CTQ Don't know about universal acceptance of the pass. Hope to have the time and money to find out and report back.

Try moon-walking, lol! WTF, why concern about getting to the lap dance we should be focusing on the lap dance and the girl's tits and ass!
