The Wrestler

Love movies with that have some stripper/SC component. I thought this was a pretty good portrayal and Marisa Tomei was awesome (and incredibly hot for 44 yrs old -- I would have bought a dance from her).
Good example showing dancer in club and out the next day in street clothes (no makeup, etc).
Although I'm not sure I would have paid $60 + tip for that little VIP experience where "Randy" just talked to her (after kicking out the young guys).
And we all know many strippers are also moms -- although in real life many seem to offer this information up front, despite that it's a turn off.
The funny thing is seeing the SC in the movie made me want to plan my next visit. Nothing better than having a drink with naked girls around.
Got something to say?

When they start throwing $1 singles out the window, he complains that it's his "Stripper Stash".
I used to only include $20s in my personal stripper stash (married, avoid large withdrawals, etc), but have now started singles too. Makes it easy to grab 20-30 $1s when headed the club, no need to get change!
Always felt weird asking for $20 singles for $20 at the gas station down the road from the strip club. :)
I think strippers with kids are always a bit torn about whether to keep it quiet since it can be a turn-off or talking about it to try and get more money out of guys since they have a kid to support.
Overall, The Wrestler was well-received by the critics.

I wouldn't have payed any attention to it without her role tho.

There are also some clips from the movie with her in it. Like when he asks her out for a beer, etc.
I thought it was a great movie but I am biased because I was a wrestling fan and strip club patron.
One of the main characters is a stripper and it has a lot about strip club culture in it. OTC extras, stalker PL's, girls doing porno on the side, etc.
It's worth checking out it you're a fan of the whole grindhouse movie genre.
As to art house movies the only movies I've seen there was the ultimate double feature - "Deep Throat" and "The Devil in Miss Jones" back when they came out.
Then just ask for it at the club. I've never seen a bartender or a waitress that wouldn't provide change.
