There are many thoughts that came in the back of our mind when we heard the name Strippers. Few thoughts include Strippers are sex workers, Strippers Just love money, We can have sex with Strippers and etc. This article will explain what stripper’s really are and what to think about them. The dancers working on strip clubs are usually called as strippers and they are one of the centres of attraction of these clubs. I have divided my points just to clear out. Strippers Are Not A Sex Worker: Stripper don’t do sex with you in the club it’s not their rule and you can’t do that in the club so you can’t refer them as a sex worker. Strippers job is to entertain you with the dance skills they possess and wearing a dress they wore is for your fun. You Cannot Touch Private Parts Of Stripper: If strippers are giving you lap dance for your pleasure and if she is going the extra mile that does not mean you can touch her anywhere you want it’s her job nature that she is taking your care. Touching her is not a proper etiquette and will result in you out of the club. Strippers Don’t Offer Sex In The Club: Even if you are horny with her giving you lap dance and teasing posture but still you cannot have sex with her in the club it’s not allowed or neither stripper will want to have. Her role is to give you a good time while keeping the limits of the club. They Deserve Tips: Many would have thought that strippers make enough money and don’t really deserve tips but you have to understand even if she is making enough but still the satisfaction she is giving you deserve some credit and in the face of your tips. If she did a good job she deserves it. You Should Respect Every Stripper: You go to strip clubs spent thousands of dollar and get the pleasure that cant be easily forgotten and one of the main sources of this great time are strippers and they deserve respect for making you feel good. Strippers Are Not Alone: Strip clubs are made because of strippers and they take good care of it. Every strip clubs have several bouncers and they are assigned to protect strippers so if you do something bad or behave wrongly with the strippers it won’t take long before a bouncer put you out of the club. Bouncers listen to strippers before you. Strippers keep Business And Personal Life Separate: If a stripper is teasing you and ask you for a lap dance that does not mean she is interested in having relationships with you or want to get personal. They just don’t even asking the real name of strippers made them pissed because they do this work as their business and never want to merge their personal and private life together. Just like every business and job has some rules, strippers also have rules that deserve respect and credit for making your great time. Show Respect Takes Respect

^^^^Lol. I've been to a few clubs that sound similar to this. They sucked and I'll never go there again. Thankfully there are plenty of clubs that are nothing like you described.

Is this a joke? Are you really a stripper? Strippers are sex workers even if they don't fuck customers. I don't know any strippers that wear a dress. Bikinis, lingerie or nude are what I see everywhere. Almost everywhere there is mutual touching including the naughty bits. Most successful strippers even talk dirty, telling me what they want me to do to them or what they want to do to me. I can think of a dozen clubs without bouncers. Strippers, like every person in the world , deserve respect until they do something to lose that respect. Tips are a means to reward service. poor service or not delivering what was agreed to means no or minimal tip.

Katty, not every woman who dances in strip clubs follows your rules. Some clubs are even stricter. But some dancers let things go much futher. But always consent is what is required. Katty, you represent only one half of what goes on in strip clubs. Typically, if you ever meet someone from TUSCL, either he or you will sniff the other out and you'll either ignore us or we'll send you on your way. We approach and utilize the parts of strip clubs that you don't work in. Your way isn't wrong, but neither is our way; there's just not much common ground between both camps. Let's go through some of your statements: Strippers Are Not A Sex Worker: They actually are sex workers but sort of in the same vein as an employee at McDonalds is a chef. You might not have sex with us, but our desire for sexual fun diminishes after spending time with you. You Cannot Touch Private Parts Of Stripper: A lot of strippers are fine with being touched and even enjoy the fact that men will spend a lot of money for the privilege. In all types of clubs there are many dancers that will permit some form of touching, including the butt, the breasts, and the genitals (and this doesn't include extras). Strippers Don’t Offer Sex In The Club: Some strippers will have sex with you. It's a type of extra. Some strippers WANT to have sex and are happy to be paid for it afterwards.

You're out of your fucking mind - saying stripping is not sex-work is like saying all politicians are honest. I doubt you are a stripper and seems you're just pulling stuff out of your ass (maybe you just wanted the free VIP and just wrote a POS "article" to get it) - or maybe your think you can you pull a wool over our eyes like you can to the many clueless idiots that visit strip-clubs are are easily deceived and manipulated, but you came to the wrong-place if you thought that.

That might be true at the Tourist Trap Vegas clubs, but not every club. Strippers Are Not A Sex Worker: According to the laws in many states they are, including requiring sheriffs cards and background checks, that must be renewed yearly. You Cannot Touch Private Parts Of Stripper: I have been in dozens of clubs in multiple states, where you can touch all you want. I typically ask if I am in a new club and not sure of the rules, but there are many clubs where dancers expect it. I have had dancers place my hands on their tits, and nipples in my mouth without even asking. Strippers Don’t Offer Sex In The Club: In those same states, over half offered sex in the club, and most of the remaining I had offers outside the club. They Deserve Tips: Depends on the dance, and how much the dances are. Some clubs charge a ridiculous price, and In such clubs a tip is not needed. In reasonably priced clubs, a tip is only deserved if she is good. Now that's for non-extras. If a dancer wants $100 for some extra fun, that $100 is her price for that extra fun, only time I would tip is if her skills put her among top. You Should Respect Every Stripper: Only those that deserve respect. I have met far too many who either have Golden Pussy Syndrom, or are ROBS, or just plan rude. These don't deserve my respect or time. Strippers Are Not Alone: Sure I have been to clubs where bouncers watch the club like Hawks, often to point of limiting all fun. I typically avoid those clubs. Unfortunately in many clubs I have been to, both high end and low end, including Vegas, the bouncers don't give a rats ass about strippers. They are only there for crowd maintenance, breaking up fights and making sure the club gets their share. I many clubs seen a group of guys regularly treat dancers like crap in the club, with the bouncers giving a blind eye to all but the most egregious behaviour. In many clubs bouncers listen to customers over strippers. The reason for this is in a lot of clubs the dancers will purposely overcount songs knowing most customers don't count, and will pay her, but will remember correctly when you call her on it. In clubs where this is rampant, this backfires on dancers. I have personally seen customers pay a dancer for less songs, the dancer complain to the bouncer, and the bouncer ignore her and just ask for her pay out.

I agree with the sentiments expressed by Liwet. As for touching boundary areas - this can be determined by the club policy but it is truly determined by the dancer herself (as any of the really fun times in “no touch” clubs can attest). In my opinion, problems come in when the patrons don’t respect the dancers limits OR the dancer “baits and switches”.

The title and the article don't correspond. I didn't read a stripper's story of her experience in a club, I read a bunch of opinions about what a stripper is, is not, does, does not, etc in a strip club. I was interested in the article because of the title, I'm not interested in the OP's definitions. The OP is entitled to her opinion but please title the article correctly.

I agree with the part about respect but there is a lot here you got wrong. The most striking is the term. Even the exotic dancers I have had discussions with identity themselves as “sex workers”. In fact a woman who happens to go down to the state capitol to advocate for their rights uses the term in the columns she pens.

Actually unless something has changed strippers are in fact registered as sex workers in Las Vegas the very place KattyH appears to be from. How do I know this? The dreaded ex I have referenced on here in the past had to get a card to work at one of the clubs there. Now I can go through each point one at a time but since we have a swing and a miss on the very first item I think we can dismiss this as they type of advice you find on Thrilllist or as mentioned Cosmo.

sorry to burst your bubble but strippers are sex workers. Stripping is only a sub-category within the sex industry. You are categorized within the overall sex industry which in turn makes you a Sex Worker.
