Talk of the city shutting down...

Talk of the city shutting down the stripclub part of the Double-Deuce has died down to the point where they actually invested in a new wood-panel floor for the stage. Doesn’t matter much to us custies, but it’s great for the strippers who no longer will have to deal with cut hands and elbows. Otherwise, same old, same old – which is very good. Still a neighborhood bar where you can get a Coke for $3.50 and lay two bucks to see a girl get naked right in front of you. Still no contact at all between you and her, at either the rail or the “lap dance area,” which is still just a plastic chair between the men’s room and the dancer’s locker, but the value can’t be beat. I’ve been lukewarm on this place before, but I feel a bit more comfortable the more times I’ve gone there. Also, the tide has turned to where they now clearly have more beautiful girls (supplied by the Partytime Agency) on their schedule (available online) than BJ’s, a former PTA client, has on theirs. I’ve put 22nd on my Hot List, and I hope the Man leaves this place alone.
