Rick's salvages a rotten happy hour trip to Downtown Cabaret

After a long time of not clubbing, got the itch after work to see some T & A. Went to my old reliable Downtown Cabaret but only 2 dancers were working at ~ 5 p.m. Friday....neither of whom were even a five or better. Hung around to finish my drink and to make sure there wasn't more talent in the private dance area. One of the two dancers confirmed that what I saw was what I had to choose from. Bailed and made my way the two blocks south to Rick's.

There, the place was hopping. A couple small parties were whooping it up and there had to be ~20 dancers working the room. One dancer was always on stage doing a 3-song set. A little remodeling has been done. The private dance area along the right side of the stage is now set up with booths for bottle service parties.

There was no cover charges at ~6 p.m. but the doorman did check my ID before letting me in. Glass of white wine was $12. I took a seat a row back from the stage to be able to take in everything
