Lots of Lap Dances, No LDK
I arrived at 8:30 PM on Friday evening. Parking is plentiful and well lighted. At the turnstile, I paid the guy $10 and change from my 20 came in singles. There was no ID scan, so I don't know why some reviewers say there is.
The space is about the same as I remember from my last visit about a decade ago. Lighting is brighter than most clubs, but less than a sports bar which is what this place resembles. You can stop at the bar on your left and get a drink, $8.50 for a 16oz draft IPA, or find a seat and a waitress will find you. Only the lower level was open, and I sat to the right of the stage where the lighting is a little better. They later opened the upper level stage and bar, and the dancers did two dances at the lower stage followed by two at dances on the upper stage.
The first two dancers were borderline fuglies, and I thought, "Man, this place has gone downhill." The shift change must occur at 9:00 because they did a cattle call with 19 entertainers. I never saw the fuglies again and the rest the other dancers were generally average to above average. There were none of the fresh-off-the-farm beauties that worked here in the old days. They were all of one ethnicity or another, but not Northern Europeans like one might hope for in Minnesota.
