It has been a while since...

It has been a while since I've visited Deja Vu in Minneapolis, so I'm not completely sure whether this is a bad day, or a sign of things going far downhill. But I'm putting in the low rating to alert everyone just in case (as always, YMMV).

Went on a Saturday afternoon, around 2:30 pm (which is half an hour after opening, but I stayed 2 hours). When I got there, there were only two dancers working, one (Taylor) spending most of the time upstairs with regulars, and the other (Ambrosia) as a result at times doing back-to-back 3-song sets.

I don't know why the manager and DJ can't be honest here. We all know there are only two dancers there. We can all tell it is a lie when he says "plenty of dancers to go around". And I expect most of us would prefer a few songs off rather than see the same dancer return to stage right after a set.
