The club still remains my favorite, but there's a development that is concerning me: The Diamond Lounge. Apparently they're going to knock down the wall between the corner of the entrance and the men's bathroom to open up this more intimate space for one-on-one stuff with VIP service, but none of the dancers I spoke to about it could give me any details beyond no touching. It's funny how they first advertised the lounge to open in July, then they said July/August, then August, then August/September, and now September. I don't think it'd be something I'd go for. Also, the KoD is a clean, well-appointed roadhouse bar; adding hoity-toity, gentleman's club service betrays its image. And I don't think a lot of people will use it, especially if they have the Seville Club in Minneapolis.

The worst thing about it is that to pay for the renovation, the club has boosted its cover. What used to be $5 became $8 when I went on the 4th of July, then $10 when I went this past weekend. They're trying to make up for it with deals on appetizers early in the evening, but I never understood why I'd pig out in a place that features naked women. Otherwise, same great, easygoing place. Turnaround remains astoundingly low for an SC; still see several girls that I saw a few years ago. The dancers, favorites as well as the unfamiliar, can hold a conversation. And, you can drink alcohol here.
