Like the 22nd Ave. club, which is about five miles away, B.J.'s Liquor Lounge hires strippers from a company called the Party Time Agency. Go to its website: They dutifully show the rosters for the five clubs they work for (these two, two over the border in Wisconsin and one in Duluth) for the week, and they're updated every Monday morning. If you have a particular honey you want to check up on, go to the website. Now that I think about it, it's one of the best things about going to B.J.'s.

The club is conveniently located off of 94; you'll be able to see the sign well before you need to take the exit. It's in a not-great area just north of downtown Minneapolis, but you'll see once you get inside that there are numerous black-and-white cameras pointed at the parking lot. Go in (watch your step though, says the sign) and you'll enter the game room, with pool tables in the middle and dart and pinball machines lining the walls. Walk straight ahead to the bar; at some point a guy should be asking to see your identification.

This isn't a strip club, just a neighborhood bar, so there's no cover and the drinks are priced as cheaply as any dive. Fifteen to twenty tables, pull tab area in one corner, vending machines off to the side. The long bar's in the middle of the room, and at the back end is the long stage where the dancers dance. There are three girls for each two-and-a-half-hour shift (starting at noon all days except Sundays, when it starts at 3). When her stint on the stage begins, she goes to the jukebox (which are for the dancers only) and selects from the limited set list; I swear, I have heard "American Woman" every time I've set foot here, not that I'm complaining.
