I look at LDs primarily as an audition to decide whether to invest in VIP rather than an end themselves. So while I’d of course prefer to pay as little as possible, $30/35 doesn’t bother me. If you buy a paint sample at the paint store to see how it looks on the wall, you know that the unit cost will be way more than when you buy a gallon

I’ve had essentially the same experience on pre-raid visits to PO, and, as recently as a week ago, had a very positive experience. Place has always been inconsistent on availability of quality talent but if you hit it at the right time the dancers are pretty much doing what they always did. I wouldn’t write PO off

Was there once while travelling on business in late February, '20. To my knowledge, it's the only thing resembling a strip club on the Missouri side of Metro St. Louis. Place had a rednecky but friendly vibe. Was there a couple weeks ago. Nice bunch of dancers. I noticed what seemed like a distinct "generation gap" between the mid-20s and younger dancers and the mid-30s and older dancers, with a distinct gap in between. The two groups don't even seem to interact with each other. Some attractive women in both camps, although a few of the older ones seemed to be phoning it in and had no interest in non-regulars

Glad this review was approved even though, as several reviewers note, it lacks many standard "club details". It has a lot of useful, actionable information packed into a short review (place is now on my North Jersey list). Sometimes, it seems like the requirement of details regarding the physical description of the property are intended to verify that the reviewer was actually on site, and didn't just copy from another review. Of course, it is just as easy to copy the physical description from an older review. Even the dimmest among us can figure out where the bar, men's room and the stage are, and how many poles are on the stage. The dancers will help us find the LD and VIP areas. OTOH, even in an extras club like this, the shyer among us may be interested in knowing how private the private areas really are, and a head's up about sketchy neighborhoods and parking, or overpriced drinks, are important.

Useful data point with others. If it's ridiculously low relative to the activity described, it calls into question the credibility and value of the review. Same if it is very high relative to the description. If the reviewer was there all night and did 4 VIPs then that's worth mentioning in the review

Also, I unfortunately had to get a DUI under my belt before I fully realized that driving buzzed is nothing to be proud of. You probably have to go through it to appreciate how it screws up your life short and long term. And that’s not to mention the danger to others

The “commando” strategy is interesting. Personally, I’d rather rinse a crispy critter out of my briefs once I get home rather than spring for dry cleaning dress pants, which I feel afford very good contact

When a dancer I’ve just met asks if I’m “law enforcement” it’s music to my ears, second only to “I’ve got condoms” which is a greeting I’ve received a time or two at a couple Providence clubs. The “law enforcement” question tells me that the dancer is of the mindset to offer extra entertainment, subject to the answer to the question. And the question is a lousy screening mechanism. LEOs are at liberty to lie their asses off, and the question itself is evidence of criminal intent

Actually surprised Phila PD would put any time and energy into this.

Sorry you had a bad experience. I wonder, though, whether there is necessarily a correlation between a lackluster stage performance and performance in VIP. I subconsciously assume there is, but maybe I'm missing out. When they show no interest in the patrons, though, there's no point in trying
