I can't seem to keep my 600ish sqft bdrm very clean so I'm probably a good candidate for that tent community someone spoke of. If I ever choose to entertain guests, I'll obliviously erect at least one additional tent but also consider the option of setting up another next to mine or just call a maid to clean up the rats nest, pig stye, etc.. that is currently my bedroom.
Once thing is for certain, decisions like these are most often made while drinking spiked lemonade from my rocking chair.
Side note, I am not now, nor have I ever been, a Millennial although, I wish them the best!

it's your mind playing tricks on you since we've all been indoctrinated on the dangers of unprotected sex and told that it's a game of Russian roulette.
Only problem is you don't immediately know if you got the chamber w/ the bullet but your mind will do it's damnedest to make you think you did.
Now, that's not to say we shouldn't use those vile things however, on the times you opt out, just be prepared to give yourself a mental check every so often about it. Like your DR said, it takes a bit of time for all the nasty stuff to run through your body before it'll show on a test and for you to likely show symptoms, unless your dealing w/ a real nasty piece and the symptoms show up almost immediately as in the case below.
In a former life while serving our country, i had the distinct privilege of going to Thailand where we were allowed to "cut-loose". word got around that one of the guys out visiting a strip club w/ his buddies, getting drunk and stupid, picked up a glass and drank it. the contents of that glass had just been sucked up and then re-poured into it via a strippers vag. His liberty ended soon after that, since his throat had completely swollen shut and he was having difficulty breathing. That's gotta be a real bad piece if it makes a mans throat swoll shut!

Ive had T-mobile for a at least the last 6-7 years and I've been very happy but I maintain no contract w/ them and can walk at a moments notice. The big thing you should consider is buying your phone outright and then go to the provider you want. this way your not chained down to any bullshit fees if they start jerking you around. every phone i have added to my monthly bill is bought outright so, they want to charge me something extra i walk. they tried to do this in the early stages when i set my kids up. i bought their phones unlocked all so all that's needed is a sim card don't matter who's. Go into tmobile talk w/ the rep tell em i have availability for 8 additional line and i want 2 sims card for my kids phones and i ask him upfront, you guys aren't gonna pull any added fees or anything are you? he says nope, i say ok. i think 15 for each sim 6G data w./ rollover unlimited text/talk to include mexico and a host of other foreign countries, which i like. after the 6g you get throttled, which i'm fine with.
Fats forward to bill time, it comes and there's an entire extra month in charges on my bill. long/short of it, they charged me an extra month since i made this change of adding 2 new lines 8 days before my billing cycle ended. lady told me that i said, ok. I'm canceling these 2 lines and my line transfer me to whoever i need to talk to to do this. And that's when she said it, Sir, you'll have to pay off the 2 phones you activated in full before you can cancel. I told her uh uh, i own my phones outright and wouldn't stoop that low to buy a phone from you guys then she hung up on me.
So, i called back and initiated the cancelling process. Lady there asks me why i wanted to cancel and i told her the story and she said well, that's stupid, why didn't they just prorate the 8 days, i said beats me but that's what anyone with common sense would expect or do in my opinion. She started to do that and then said I'm going to send you a new bill and it wont be prorated and the amount from now on month to month will be 80. bucks. i said that works for me and I've been a happy customer ever since. That $80 was for 4 lines unlimited text/talk 6g data w/ rollover. kids each got a line and i have two.
Of course now, i have added additional lines and it's no longer a reasonable 80 bucks but it beats the hell outta AT&T. at one point i was giving those bastards over 500 a month in cell phone and uverse charges. I put an end to that once i came to my senses.

Keep it in my pants when I do OTC. If I were a stripper it would stand for I like big bucks and I can not lie.
Now that's classic!! Only thing missing was the camera crew and the phrase "Hi, Mr. ilbbaicnl, why don't you have a seat right over there"
I would hope she wasn't intentionally trying to put the fear into you and the response came from a simple question that was posed.
Otherwise, shenanigans like that don't sit very well w/me. of course, it could all be overlooked w/ a stern warning and spanking.

Honestly, that sounds like a nice slice of heaven whodey, the fat bastard. I just worry, I'd pull that trigger and would go further insane w/ boredom and lack of entertainment.
Still, i catch myself having visions of a quiet place w/ land on all sides and a small lake/pond for fishing. Then, I always see myself patiently waiting for trespassers or the "authorities" to venture up my driveway to tell me, I'm not living properly and i need to conform or else.
That's when I start to roll the old Bronson, Norris, or Stallone movie clips in my head and my little slice of heaven turns into a blood bath of vigilante justice or a final stand-off to the latest perceived encroachment of my God giving rights and i think, maybe i need the grounded and intrusive lifestyle that comes with neighbors being 5ft from my bathroom window or the oversight of an HOA drunk on power informing me my trash cans must be out of sight within 12hrs of trash being collected.
When honestly, I just want a quiet place where I can invite a woman, of age, to my home for a stimulating and flirtatious conversation that leads to her and i naked and ultimately her leaving w/ far more money than she had upon arriving. The trifecta would be her asking when we can do it again.
I'm sorry, I've seemed to gone astray. All these responses are quality responses and further complicates someones decisions of where to call home and what that home should look like. I have a soft spot for the ranch brick homes you see in some areas of the US. i could envision that w/ above normal land, and the pond/lake nearby and vacation to all the spots i'm compelled to when the beast must feed.

Very interesting question and even more so with the responses. I too, never knew the true definition of Mcmansion and always perceived them to be large communities of homes built to appear and contain almost identical characteristic on the outside or as Papi Chulo quoted, "lacking in architectural integrity"
The only unknown is what amount of square footage would justify a home a Mcmansion and fell within the other defined factors above. I always perceived these sorts of homes or communities were strictly on the coasts however that is incorrect since i'm in the middle of the country now, moving from west to east and I see the same features in all the communities around here. there might not be as many homes in a particular community but the builders greed for money is easily identified whether from the distances between the homes, the cheap fixtures used in new homes, or the evidence of shoddy workmanship when touring the model homes in new communities.
I followed the rules, well most of them, in my previous life on west coast. The young starting out family bought a condo early phase of brand new sprawling master planned community, quickly sold after 2 years, and bought the bigger brand new single family home to accommodate our increasing family size. The builder requested all the buyers complete a survey once they closed and moved into home, my only remark on the survey was i believed the home would not outlive the life of the loan. I didn't know what to really look for when we were buying when it came to craftsmanship or quality although, i was pretty sure i wasn't supposed to feel half sunken nail heads under my feet when i walked on our upgraded carpet and padding during the initial days of living in the home.
Now, i lease a brand new home in the middle of the country and to me, it's even worse with the craftsmanship and quality of fixtures and the owner wanted offered to sell it to me for 450k and i so badly wanted to tell him i wouldn't touch it for 350K. And for reference, none of these homes were over 3000sqft either 4-5brms but nothing insanely huge in my eyes.
someone said there waiting for the valley or downturn, i'm doing the same. I've kept an adequate amount of my proceeds so when this thing bottoms and it will, I will take my pick of what will serve my needs and wants. My only two issues/concerns will any of us still be here when it bottoms and do i want to go further off grid or back to civilization and the debauchery i sorely miss.
TL/DR:
Practically all, new homes under 7 figs are built very poorly, have minimal variance to neighbors home, and the lot sizes are no more than 1/3 acre with most being much smaller those our homes where i came from on west side of country and that's being generous.

I had to stop reading for a moment when you stated "grabs the tip of the condom, stretches it about two feet like it’s a party balloon until it snapped off" goddamn that doesn't feel good!! At least you had a lubricated warming pad readily on-hand to soothe with the sting that usually accompanies that snap.
As far as your concerns, those have been the two biggest items of fear society has been indoctrinated with since birth and then the 80's, pregnancy and aids, respectively.
I'm not mentally or physically strong enough to return to properly raising a child under the age of hmmm, how olds my youngest 10. I will do a disservice to society if I'm forced to participate in that in anyway and, it will be an intentional disservice to society.
As far as the other, I'm relatively confident something else will do me in way before aids could ever make a dent . in fact, whatever is planning to kill me may kill the aids just outta spite, if something like that ever made the unfortunate mistake of seeking me as a host.
But most of us have been intentionally conditioned to shit ourselves endlessly for a period of 15 - 30 days after engaging in what we've been taught could ruin our lives or kill us.
TL/DR:
A bit frightened of the first but DGAF on the second due to age exemption clause.
Apologies, I still need to sharpen and polish my brevity gentle-ladies and men.

Just seeing this post although, I am new to this forum. I've just finished all the logistics for an 8 day trip to CR schedule in aug while I have a shorter trip 5 day scheduled back in my old stomping ground (tj) the end of this month. Only difference w/ the cr trip, i'm taking my oldest son (21ish) for better or worse, some may see this as a bad thing while others just the opposite. I'll find out but my motivation is to minimize the possibility of him falling prey to the very first piece of ass he acquires and being led around by it for the next 20-30 years of his life until one day the rose tinged glasses fall off. I will try to provide a TR once we return. splitting the our time between hotel del ray and sl and surprisingly it hasn't set me back as much as i'd originally anticipated however, we're not on the ground yet so that will truly dictate the end-state. few years back spent 24hrs straight traveling to pattaya and let me just say, i'd spend 48hrs on a plane to get to that utopia. that was my plan to go back this year but i sumpin clicked a couple of weeks ago that told me i needed to go to cr and take my son. strange as it sounds, i immediately started the research logistics. like i said, will do my best to provide solid specs for the group.

for past 15 years lived less than 5 miles from border in CV, relocated late last year out of state. When I started going south again 16 (prior to that it was in the 90's and way different) I booked a room at cascades but had to cancel due to unforeseen work req. So, long short, never ever decided to re-book at cascades and have always, always, stayed at Hotel Ticuan. My first experience there was tiptop and practically all the others.
if op will be there on business and some side fun, Ticuan is your spot fosho. (half block from revo st, turn left on revo bars and eateries, turn right strip club a block up on left adilitas, i think). Only issue i ever had at ticuan, i arranged for a couple girls there at strip club to come by my room after their shift which they did, front desk wouldn't allow two, only one. reason, king bed was only for 2. i offered to pay for an extra bed, everything you name it, nope she was adamant, bed only for two. keep that in mind. single girl, no issues, id scan for the girl but that's it, no muss no fuss.
I did stay at the Marriott (no issues there single girl) once but found it too far out and just prior to leaving the state i started staying at Fairfield (met single girl outside and walked right in w/ me no id scan, nada), which is even further out from action. I had a regular who I'd schedule a night or two which didn't require much movement unless i took her to dinner or out drinking. Our first outing she took me to all the strip clubs which was cool. I will be in the general area upcoming holiday and have already scheduled a night at ticuan and am on fence to schedule another at cascades after reviewing this forum. i knew it was a freak show fuck fest there, just somehow i took a different yet similar path during my ventures traveling solo south. Sorry, it's my first post so brevity is a bit rusty.
TL/DR: IMHO your best option op hotel ticuan
