Weird review. I work here. It is $25/song paid to the dancer. The VIP host implies that tips are appreciated, but they are not required. They are paid regardless. Girls may decline dances because tip out to the bar without doing dances is $0 (unless they are freelance ($50) and/or have late fees ($10/half hour after 7pm)). If a girl does even one $25 dance, she then owes the bar $25 with or without any freelance or late fees.
Parking on the street is not safe. There is a liquor store nearby and it can get kinda rowdy sometimes. Extras have not been a thing here since May 2018. I don't know why none of you do your research before going to a club inside the city limits. There is only one club inside the city limits that "allows" extras (check my previous reviews).
Players is, in fact, a late night club. That was not a lie. Back in the day of extras, it was deserving of a spot in the top 40.

reviews month old or longerNo. Unless the individual mentions having taken notes during the visit. A lot can change at a club after a month. Girls leave, new girls come in. Same with management and staff. Raids may or may not have happened. Prices may or may not change. And, honestly, who the fuck retains enough info for a real legitimate review after even a week or two without having taken notes during the visit. Reviews are supposed to be recent, not something written on a whim from a past visit where a lot of the details may be guesswork.

Breaking in dancersOh boo hoo. Cry us a river. Inflation is real and a new girl wants to pay her bills. So let's post about it because that will show her! That will surely change things! 🙄

Let's focus reviews on dancers + their friendliness, not club layout and parkingHow about no. I read the reviews to hear not only about potential coworkers, but I'd also like to know the layout to see if it would work for me and what I look for in a club. Just because you don't want to write a real club description doesn't mean we change how reviews have been traditionally written. Grow up. This isn't all about you, sport.

Definition of GPSJust because you don't agree with what she's asking for, she doesn't need medical attention. You are not a licensed physician or therapist who can make such an assessment. You stating she does proves how unrealistic and misogynistic you are towards women who have boundaries and charge their worth. She does not need medical attention, but you, however, are in dire need of a reality check. ✌️

Lip FillerIt depends on the amount of product. I get filler, but only half a syringe. It's subtle enough to where it's not noticable. I've worked with others who also have subtle amounts of filler and others who have lips that are about to explode. It's about what makes the individual happy and if they make more/lose money from it - oh well. They're still most likely happy with their new modification (assuming it was done by their choice). Everyone of you is into different things, looks, personalities, etc, so no need to hate on body work and modifications.
- Early Evening Visit
We hate the hourly showgirl parades. We lose so much time that could be spent selling/hustling/VIP. And the stage is too thin.
- Mixed Wednesday Evening at the Flight Club
This club and Landing Strip allow extras. It's clear you didn't research them before stopping in. I've worked at FC. That stage is SLICK. It's like and ice rink. Why don't you go on a stage in tall platforms and put on a show for $2 at the risk of breaking or twisting an ankle? The owner loves his dog machines that blast upward from the stage. And where does that stuff fall? On the stage... creating an ice rink.

Detroit Strip Cubs during UAW Strike? The UAW strikers are getting $500/week for strike pay, but otherwise no other income related to the automakers. Local factories are laying off non-union employees now, which is creating a huge domino effect of really slow business at the clubs. I've only worked at Legends and Landing Strip since the strike started and definitely feel the effects of the strike. Legends has been completely dead. The last two Lions home games have me concerned and wondering if I should leave that club/dancing for good. That club has been traditionally packed for home football games and there were countless open booths on the first floor after the first Lions home game got out. I overheard so many girls complaining about struggling that day. In the last lions home game was even more empty with customers with more girls showing up.
I worked a Friday and Saturday at Landing Strip two weekends ago or so and the Friday I worked was pitiful. I basically broke even that night. Some of the girls were complaining in the locker room of that night. And Saturday wasn't much better. A lot of the customers I've been meeting at both clubs are either from out of town visiting or they work in a completely different industry. There are a handful of regulars I know who work in the auto industry and haven't been seen since the strikes started nor have two of them replied to my texts.
Tl;Dr the effects of the strike is definitely being felt in clubs. Foot traffic is down and a lot of girls are complaining and struggling and some are having a difficult time making ends meet.

WTH happened to Desertscrub?"He was an extremely regular poster / adjudicator. I don’t think he would have just stopped cold turkey. He got some type of satisfaction from trolling us."
Back in 2021, on my other (now defunct) profile, Scrub and I had a negative interaction on some thread. I don't even remember what the thread was about. But he basically came at me for being female, so I took it to private messages to confront him and ask him exactly what his issue is with me.
I'm honestly too lazy to log into my old account and go through all the messages to find out what he said, but iirc correctly he basically told me he felt like he was obligated to keep people in line and he spell obligated to make sure no club ads made it through. He did touch on a mental disorder and told me a bit about it which is why he felt like he was obligated to do what he did. I know this all sounds weird, but I'm just way too lazy to switch accounts (Plus I would really rather not log into that account again). At the end of our back and forth, we had come to an agreement and we were fine after that.
Same thing with Icee. I private messaged him once to try to settle a disagreement and he was actually really cool with me in private messages and had apologized for what he had said.
- Would you like a $25 soda pop?
This is now a Déjà Vu run club. They're not changing the name. I'm not sure if it's corporate run or a franchise, but I do know that it's a Déjà Vu club now. And deja vu clubs are basically the PG-13 of strip clubs (despite them being all nude). Some of the girls were probably afraid of getting in trouble, having a bad night, or they just hate their jobs. It's probably better during the summer.
This was the second club I ever danced at and I was one of the girls who helped open the club up when it was brand new. My first club was Crossroads.
- Expensive upsells
$300 for a hj? I should take a trip to work here if $300 is a going rate for a hj. $300-$400 is an average fs price at the clubs here and the clubs are oversaturated with dancers, some doing fs for $100.

Age?^ it's okay. I wrote that when I had just woken up and was out of it. I've been sick and physically miserable for two weeks with a sinus infection, so my reading comprehension is kinda out the window right now. For real, I had a fever from a damn sinus infection + laryngitis. Wtf. Tested negative for COVID and flu twice. And I'm on my second round of antibiotics.

TVs in the VIP room.Deja Vu Ypsilanti had a TV in two of their VIP rooms. One room had a DVD player where you could buy or rent a video from the front desk merch area and watch it while in VIP and the other had some kind of a Nintendo gaming system. I want to say it was a SNES, but I don't quite remember.

Free admission to UAW strikers."Does the UAW still even have strike pay? What is the point of getting into a place where 0 $ = 0 fun?"
Union members who are striking are earning $500 a week.
And this Dream Girls is a Deja Vu corporate run club. So of course they would do something like this.

September just ended and I didn't hear this onceI am resisting the urge to Rick Roll TUSCL again. The opportunity to do so is laid out in front of me on a red carpet right now, but I will refrain from doing so.
And I actually don't think I heard that song at all during the month of September. I actually can't remember the last time I heard it.

Missouri teacher w/ an Only FansIf someone has a stable career and they do sex work on the side, they should continue that career or find another career that is just as stable. Sex work is not a stable and reliable industry - especially OF. Every sex worker's body has an expiration date and some are forced to retire before they even want to. If this woman doesn't want to pursue a long term career in sex work, she should keep OF as a side hustle; even if she is making more money than she is in her day job.
- Solid afternoon visit to BT's
Thank you for writing this. I'm considering auditioning at this club next (it was actually my first club in the Metro Detroit area, but I haven't stepped foot in there since 2014ish). By any chance, did Diva happen to mention anything about what the tip out is like at BT's? It was $80 to the house if you used VIP way back when I worked there, but I'm sure the house fees have increased throughout the years.
I always parked across the street, too. I think I was the only dancer who did, but thankfully nobody ever messed with me when I was walking back to my car at night (except for getting cat called, which I always ignored).

Recording / Photos"paid artist".
Oh yeah, I forgot to add that we are not called artists. Porn talent. Male talent, female talent, etc. We are called talent because our agencies consider us models. If you go to any agency website, it will list something about the models they represent somewhere on their site. They don't say "check out our artists" or "porn stars we represent". It is always "talent."
Thank you for coming to my TED talk. Happy to educate and correct you regarding an industry you know nothing about.

Recording / Photos"Then you can claim to be a movie producer working with a paid artist."
This will not work. I work in mainstream porn. Most directors have permits to shoot unless they're shooting in a content house that is on private property. Furthermore, we have contracts, waivers, and other legal documents that we have to sign. Directors and studios also need copies of talent's identifications. And we aren't paid in cash. We are paid with checks signed by directors or producers with the name of the studio on the check. Merely recording on your cell phone and claiming to be a director or producer won't save you from shit.
Two of my scenes were shot in public, which the directors had permits to shoot should we have been approached by LEO. A lot of mainstream porn is shot in content houses that are rented by the hour or in studios (for example, Team Skeet has a whole ass building and each room is a different set or dedicated to a specific brand of theirs).
And just know, if you record a girl, whether you have her permission and you've paid her or not, she can come back and sue you if you post it online. It is a form of revenge porn. And if you do record someone, please don't post it online because you could literally ruin someone's life and everything they have going for them.
