10 dollar dances might not be 10 dollars
I reapectfully disagree about whether it was worth it or not to call this ROB out to management. They clearly advertise Monday as $10 dance day, not "dancer names her price day." If you'd been back for 3 songs you have that much more solid ground to stand on. I agree it's not *always* worth fighting over a few bucks just on principle, but this dancer will keep hustling everyone she can until her con is called out. Also, you have an obligation to name this ROB publicly. "Long hair and overly tatted" isn't nearly specific enough to identify her and avoid.

Lots Of Eye Candy
Funny you mention the "dancing" girls at the Cheetah do on stage. With no poles and rules against bending over or otherwise "dropping it low" on stage (breakaway bottoms are mandatory), there aren't a lot of moves left to choose from. The resulting robotic hip-swaying has been nicknamed "The Cheetah Bop."

Nice Time
With all the clubs to choose from in the immediate DTW vicinity, why on Earth would anyone choose Bogarts for a non-extras experience? If you just want dances and eye candy there are plenty of better options.

Monday Night Deadzone
It's been a long time since I've visited Mardi Gras, but if I recall correctly the bell by the main bar is rung when someone tips the bartenders well. Never understood it, and frankly it would *discourage* me from tipping more than a minimum, but who knows? They used to have them in Arby's restaurants by the door for customers to "ring if your service was exceptional." That makes even less sense.

There Are Diamonds Among The Straw
I can confirm @mule7's drink price, though parking was an even $5. A $65 "twofer" sounds like Nikki took advantage.

First Detroit Experience
A rule of thumb if they know you're new to the club is that the dancer's first offer will be around double the "market rate" for whatever services you're asking for.

Disappointed
Cheetah has a standard policy for the stage sets: gowns come off after $5 in tips, $5 more and they go topless, and another $5 will get her nude. At slow times of day you can understand why you didn't see a lot of skin with that practice in force. (Ironically a fully nude table dance is only $10).

Nice Club butt
Sorry if it's rubbing salt in the wound, but you were also being overcharged for dances. Standard rates at Subi's start at $20 per song for the topless area (front) and $25/song in the fulll-nude VIP space (in back). Normally you should be able to negotiate time or services for a set price (i.e. no song count) that can improve on those numbers.

Good time at Goodtime
Not sure why you balked at "over $200" for a half hour in VIP but then spent half that on roughly the same amount of time for air dances - but hey, it's your money. In general my experience has been that night shift girls will ask for $200 minimum for 30 minutes in VIP. You may be able to get a lower offer in the right circumstances ($150 is the typical number for day shift). The room prices are set by the club and the larger ones are only about $10 more ($40 vs. $50 IIRC for night shift, day shift pricing is around $10-$15 less).

Sold a dream
With the influx of new dancers and the (relative) crackdown on mileage, there's a higher risk of meeting a ROB. Last time I was in the area (during a mid-shift transition) I got a strong impression that the night shift is also less "customer friendly." Caveat emptor.

What is it like with competition again.
This review is posted for the wrong Midnight Express location. The MX off I-65 Exit 22 next door to The Watering Hole is in Pulaski (Cornersville).

Good Club, Low Pressure
I can only assume the "steep" pricing refers to "more" alluded to - i.e. VIP. That, or the reviewer is looking for one of the infamous $5 dance clubs. Spoiler Alert: at Pink Pony, chances are 99.99999% sure that VIP is *not* worth the asking price. Unless you're OK with paying similar rates to VIP at other clubs in the area without getting the same level of privacy or fun.

Also, Shooters Alley no longer exists - the Doraville location closed over a year ago, and the Midtown location rebranded (again) as Club Platinum.

I call BS. TT doesn't open until 3pm ("lunch break"?) and is generally dead until 9pm at the earliest ("by 7pm"?). There are no pool tables. Founder, please delete this garbage and revoke any credit given to this con artist.

Mileage-O-Meter - The LD Odometer for Her
@Wallanon, when you were a teenager did you get to "27th base" with a girl? It's easy to overthink some things. This is an example.
