Setting: Monreal's Encore (since 1960) is a small building situated just off of the I-94 entrance ramp at Hawley and across the street from a cemetery. There is usually enough parking alongside the building except on a busier night. The entry involved $5 cover and an ID scan. I ordered a champagne for $10. As you enter, there is the main bar. Further back is the dancing room which has a single U-shaped stage with 2 poles, plus some tables and chairs to sit at. Rest rooms are to the right of the hallway and are maintained well. There is a lap dance area in the back which has a leather sofa to sit on and is mostly but not totally curtained off so it’s mostly private. The lighting level is not too dark and the music is not too loud, both of which I like. Music seemed like obscure grunge rock but again not played loudly. Stage: Wednesday evening from 7:15—8:40 there were up to 5 customers max and 6 dancers. Each would rotate on the stage for 2 songs, and the stage was never left vacant (good) even though custies were few in number. Some, but not all of them tipped at the stage. Dancers were mostly new to me (last visit 5 months ago). Some dancers did pole twirling and others just strutted around the stage. The usual greeting from the dancer was boobs rubbed on customer face. It was pretty easy to hang out a while at a table and just watch. Most but not all dancers did a tip walk after the dance. Dancer List: Roxanne—white, blonde with medium short hair in pigtails, huge saggy boobs Cinnamon—brunette, medium size, I smelled perfume on her but also cig smoke and when she put her butt up to my face could smell the 100 mg of poop we (almost) all have in our butt crack Bella—Hispanic with curly hair in a bun, 22, medium size and small tits, tattoos, danced at Heartbreakers and Airport before but was brand new here. Sawyer—light skinned AA, tattoo under left breast, new dancer Aries—white, brown hair, overweight with baby damage and stretch marks. Has danced here 3 years. Nix- said she was a Black/White mix. Tall-ish and slimmer, the prettiest dancer; she has danced here 1 year. Private Dance: I took Nix (the prettiest) for a ride in the private dance area, for $30. She danced on me for one song and part of another. While she did allow me to feel her nice, smooth body, all over (except the crotch) she kept her black top and bottom on for the dance duration. She did give me a long peek at the kitty for a finale. Conclusion: This is an old-school smaller club. The individual attention level from dancers was good; even when it get busier than this, it is still good. More touching is available at certain other places (Rickey’s and Golddiggers) but those don’t get going until past my bedtime. Encore is adequate for moderate contact and reasonable prices.

1) In my recent visit, I didn't see pussy on stage. 2) I'd say there was a preponderance of Latinas, not just two. I realize it can be a little difficult to tell whether some individuals are white or Latina/hispanic, but that is what I thought. Also, the music was largely Spanish when I was there. 3) I'm glad I did just a lap/private dance behind the beads and I turned down VIP. From what you describe, it was essentially the same as the lap dance but for 15 min duration. The presence of cameras is discouraging.

Yes, the right side gets used when the club is busier. I found virtually all the dancers to be Latina. I agree that the bouncers patrol everything--the stage, the lap dances. And there are definitely some down-scale clubs in town where you are more free to touch without all the damn patrolling.

Yes, they do seem overly strict with too many rules. Maybe that is to offset their status as almost the only nude club in southeast Wisconsin.

jackel, you were correct. The last night Spot Lite was ever open has passed. A "Doors Closed Forever" sign is up on the front door. The building remains for sale (signs posted).

No, there is no separate VIP area. In my one-time visit, all I got was massage and a hug. I suppose if someone were a regular, it's believable that you could get away with some mileage.

There's one dancer who got mentioned in both our reviews. Anyway, my experience is there's a camera in the private dance area and that can inhibit action.

As of Sunday, August 15, Louie's Lounge was doing dances. You might be thinking of Bobby's Bar--that place has stopped all dances.

As my review says, lapdances (as well as massages) were offered at Carl's when I visited this past Sunday. Maybe when you visited they weren't doing lapdances. Bobby's is the one with only massages.
