Ha. My issue is I disguise the name to something that would trigger me to know it was a stripper, but wouldn't be obvious. The last name of Jigalente if they were from a club called Jiggles, etc. But some of these that are years old, I had no memory of, so purged just recently. down from about 20 to just a handful that I can recall. So often you let them grab your phone and put their number in, then you edit it, all while there and 2 sheets in, and there's nooo memory of that years later!

I also use that rather, or where I learned of them, Boy Scout uniform belts, web belts, etc. I usually just unclip the buckle and leave it in the car, tuck the ends in, shirt untucked, good to go. ProTip. This style also works at most airports, ditch the buckle and then it's an easy snap-it-back-on once you're thru the scanner, rather than having to fish a belt back through all the loops while looking for your shoes, putting your laptop back in the briefcase and trying not to look like Don Knotts doing it.

Agreed, NJB, but my concern wasn't over LE, any more than usual. I feel the greater threat, if there is one, is from other folks getting out of hand, or looking for trouble. The three clusters of guys at BU just looked intentional, and I don't need to get caught in that, or between that, or whatever. Might have just been the corner, and had nothing to do with BU, I just didn't want to be in that mix, and I agree with the TVs at BU, I check my ride occasionally there, too. A for Vic's, that just looked like a hazard, and at first thought there was work going on inside ( my inner monger said" Maybe building large LD rooms with lazy boy recliners and floor to ceiling locking doors ! ), but then saw it might just have been camera work outside. I *do* want to check out Vics again to see if there is either a monitor behind the bar, or more cameras inside as well - rarely do you install just one, or in just one are - usually it's a premise-wide project so that has me alerted to the ld area?

To all message above: Thanks for the comments, fellas! And it does take some self control - but I was on the way to other clubs, so that helped. With no "Plan B", I would have chanced it. Assumptions? Of course I was. And my actions were out of an abundance of caution. But my reaction planning goes deep. For example: With the ladder in front of the doorway - even innocently being used for the cam. installations, I would have had to snake my way past it to get in, and it would block the door from opening on the way out - in the minuscule chance I'd need to make a forced fast exit ( fire, etc. ). Just wasn't worth the risk - however small. And yes, SJG, they do, that's why they're in rotation!

Sad to see this is the state of some of the cnj/snj clubs. The curse of being a monger for nearly 30 years is you "remember when"... I was seeing a girl from the old Utopia guide, who had just "graduated" to there from picking up guys in AOL chat. She used to tell a story about inviting them over, then not letting them in without them paying at the door . lol. Anyway- the relationship to this club is she went here, or maybe it was GGR or Franks, but there was a male stripper in one of the back rooms. According to her story, she got super turned on by him, and asked if he wanted to do it right on the stage. He said yes, and she went to the doorway to the big room and shouted - "Who want's to see me F this guy? $20 each... " haha. oh...the days of yore...

Go back when you can spend more time. It is worth hanging out against the far wall and just watching how the game is played. Also, when seats open up back there, you'll feel more settled. Agree with you that the runway from the door to the first turn of the bar isn't the best.

If anyone knows where those girls go to work now, please post. This should change the local landscape a bit, and if supply and demand laws are still in effect, it should be for the better for us mongers :)
