Yeah I know what you mean. I was there on a Monday and it was busy and waiting for a specific dancer was frustrating

Yes there are vip rooms back by the bathrooms. I’d guess 4-6 but I could be wrong. $60 to the club and whatever you negotiate with the dancer. Small room with a couch and a table. Solid door. Best I can tell they knock at the end of the 30 minutes. The day I was there was probably 60% AA and 40% white girls

@gold I heard it’s open still but a skeleton crew working since nearly all went to Onyx @ggofv Disregard the previous reviews of Onyx. From my one visit, the dances were definitely not air, but they definitely aren’t ‘Follies’ either. From what I received and saw, dances were full contact and on-par with O/Allure and Vivide (to some degree). Keep in mind though, there’s no Latinas working so don’t expect much/any stick shifting kinda stuff unless you get a specific girl that does that. Privacy could be an issue at Onyx. The outer seating is more private than the interior seating but still not as private as us PLs would prefer.

Yeah. I’ve been to the Onyx version of follies and so far it’s the same as O/Allure…..dancers, waitresses, bartenders. The club is nice but the dancers are the ones from Allure/O, so if you liked them, you’ll be happy. If not, go to Vivide I’ll write a proper review soon.

To piggyback on what goldmonger said…..those IG stories aren’t giving me much hope for better looking dancers either. Looks like the same rough looking ones from O and maybe a few new ones that blend in.

Based on the IG posts, the main 4 that Shadow mentioned are teaming up to turn Onyx into Follies dayshift….yet again. What is this, like the 3rd or 4th different follies reinvented attempt??? Supposed to start Monday 12-8pm. We shall see….

Terrance was at Diamonds and is/was currently at O/Allure with Courtney. Not exactly sure what his role or title is but he is visible on the floor during the day shifts and is a pleasant and good guy

Per instagram, looks like the Onyx thing starts July 29. I’ll read the old Onyx reviews but those that say no chance for extras, etc….is that because of the club layout or management? Club layout is a problem but new management may change the lack of extras

I saw on IG that the last day is this Tuesday. Some workers there say they plan to reopen elsewhere but I’d be shocked if that happens. Wishful thinking on their part

The song count can be tricky at Diamonds bc the dj has a tendency to blend songs together and/or cut them short. Not saying he does this every day/time but I’ve experienced it more than once, sometimes making the songs seem very short and easily missed

I was surprised by the lack of high end, model type dancers like they used to have. But, I think going midweek played a big part as I’m sure the best looking dancers only dance on Friday and Saturdays

I agree that the younger, better looking dancers tend to give some of the worst dances. A combination of being young and inexperienced and being attractive so they don’t feel the need to try. Unfortunately for me, these are the ones I’m typically attracted to lol

Yes. Totally agree with 5footguy. The many positive reviews on here are all for dayshift. Night shift is completely different and geared more for a ‘make it rain’ environment. For nighttime clubbing, Cheetah, TT, and PP are the spots to hit

Yes, better during the day. I would not go at night personally. Very similar to V. I hate when I’m getting a dance and the dancer talks to someone else or checks their phone etc. if I’m paying you to do something, I want 100% attention on me lol. And yes, just like V’s pomp row, Diamonds has its resident pimp/plug scene too.

Good to know about the “skybox” vips lol. Might have to try one out next time. @kilowerw I understand what you mean and yeah they will try to get pity if they can but every review lately of this club includes a comment about 2 or 3 dancers per customer. That’s great for us but at that ratio, at a minimum, half or more of the dancers aren’t making money at any given time. Sure some customers will get dances from multiple women in the course of a visit, but those customers are probably spreading out dances looking for ‘the one’ to spend serious money on. That means small money for many dancers and that isn’t gonna pay too many bills. And yes, there are girls waiting for regulars or who are lazy, but the Latinas aren’t typically that way. That’s the white girls lmao

Yeah they’ve posted the closure dates on IG story a couple times. I wonder if Diamond will be overrun by Cubans those couple days lol

I know what you mean about dancers sitting on the ends of the booths now lol. Unless the other end/side is wide open, it makes it awkward if you don’t want dances from them
