Great review and I appreciate the detail (length). RE: Cubans…. Some of my best vips have been with a Cuban and easily my worst vip was with a Cuban back at Platinum. Some are definitely mechanical, I think mainly bc communication is limited, but like one person mentioned, some have decent English skills and are personable

How long has Vivide been closed for? Wednesday and Thursday? When is it expected to be back open?

That’s always a bit of an issue no matter the ratio. Dancers that just sit in groups on their phone and don’t even approach customers. I’ll never understand that unless they are waiting for a regular to show up soon.

Will, why would you do vip at V but not TT? Bc the extra $40 room fee or something else?

I spoke with a dancer friend that worked at Oasis yesterday and she is under the impression it is closed permanently. She was upset about it and said she will eventually find a new club but was taking a week off to focus on her next move

I agree with Will. There’s more and newer dancers every time I go. Many are latinas but there’s some AA and a few white girls popping up now too. Although, I’d still avoid Mondays and Tuesdays If you’re looking for the bigger selections of dancers

I spoke to a couple Cubans that thought Platinum would be back open in October. Whether they had good intel or were just hoping, I can’t confirm.

Wish they would/could make the main lap dance area bigger. That’s the main negative for me….too damn cramped!

Passed Platinum yesterday on my way to TTs and Platinum was closed. Looks like they are doing some renovations or fixing something due to the amount of contractors in the parking lot. Also, fwiw I have a Cuban ‘friend’ from Platinum and she said they require “papers” to work there. Cubans that don’t have the papers work at other clubs so it may be a little premature to expect Little Havana at Vivide like it was yesterday (and however long Platinum is closed for).

If it’s getting tough to get good contact at Platinum then things are really bleak

There is or there used to be another area down some stairs near the back of the club. Like a vip seating/dances area. I’ve never been down there and for all I know, they may not use it anymore. When the clubs reopened after Covid, there were some reviews that talked about this area but you had to pay a fee to go down there. I have never once seen any customer or dancer go down there during the day in my times there but you can see the stairs and a sign for it next to the dj booth in the back of the main area. This is/was an area for dances, not vip. I only asked the op in case someone actually went down there or if it was actually being used. Just curious lol

Did she push for vip or did you ask? How much was vip cost? I’m assuming when you say you went down stairs you meant the 3 steps to the main area left of the bar or did you mean the other set of steps in the back of the club area?

It’s the best if you like Cubans/Latinas, but the club itself has some serious issues for me. Parking is way too small/cramped. The club is smokey and extremely small. If you don’t get there by 3pm, good luck finding anywhere to sit and it can even be a struggle to find somewhere for dances on a busy day. Size of vip room is small but manageable but rather nasty/not clean looking. The same can be said of the club lol

To the comment about the vip rooms feeling cramped, I agree completely. Depending on which side of the vip room you get, you may not even have a table to set your drinks or phones down. Sometimes there little to no lighting to where the dancer is having to turn the phone’s flashlight on just to see.

Who are the two Griffin girls?

One thing to note is that they are now charging $10 for entry. This is in addition to any parking fees.
