Not my best visit here but could be worse

Arrived around 2:45pm and had no issue finding parking in the main lot against the road. Paid $10 entry and got a light pat down. This was my first time coming here since they remodeled and also since they have started using the upstairs. Even though the upstairs wasn’t open this day, I could tell it had some changes to it and was used on occasion.

Went down the stairs and noticed the new displays that replaced the tvs on the opposite side of the bar. These are a nice touch but the place overall is still way too bright. The red plasticky/pleather upholstery is new (to me) but not really any better than the previous stuff. Unfortunately, the seating had not changed since my last visit. The L/U-shaped couches are still there and are just as awkward as ever. If the room was darker, it would be better, but it’s not.

Went to the bar that has about 8-10 seats. All were full. I got whiskey and coke and noticed the prices have gone up, from $10 to $12. Found a seat on a couch but had to share since none were empty. Even early in the week, I had to awkwardly share/stare at other dudes. Not good. At least the Latinas swarm to you immediately so the awkwardness goes away just as quickly.
