I don't know if that's an ad. He's written 37 reviews of 29 clubs since 2013. If he's shilling, he's made a profession of it. ;) I think the review's a bit too enthusiastic, but he's right; Kit Kat is a burlesque show, not a typical strip club.

That's an ad. Stellar first review by someone who joined this month. I've spent a lot of time in this club and that barely resembles the experience you'll have.

Is Dean trying to kill his club? Or does he think that Xpose, Sunset and Runway are so bad that his customers will put up with whatever he does to avoid having to go a few miles east or south?

Probable ad. Some true stuff; some put downs of other clubs; some exaggerations about the quality of the services at Acrop. Wish club owners would spring for an ad instead of pretending to write reviews.

Thanks @trumpeter I'll add a little about changes since I wrote that. 1) The manager who aggressively enforced the rules was fired. Current bouncers are a little less enforcement happy. But the curtains are sheer. This just isn't an extras club. 2) There was a shooting and a guy was killed here a week ago. From what I can gather, the guy wasn't a customer. He was trying to run into the club to get away from the shooter. Crowds are way down since it happened.

Stars must be pretty far gone to need to resort to shill reviews.

Good review. I can confirm that there are cameras with infrared illumination in each of the vip rooms. They're over the entrance to each room pointing down toward the couch. I can't remember if I spotted a camera in the top less dance area last time I was there a couple weeks ago.

When did Rose City go vegan? That's quite a surprise. Sister club DV8 still advertises "the best $5 steak in town." (It's not).

Should have read JKPDX's prop before posting my own. Armani is definitely either a minor or pretending to be one. I can't imagine why a girl would restrict herself to the minor stage if she was over 21, and Armani is only ever found on the minor stage and the main stage.

I can confirm some of what Clakport says here. Catty is very interactively sexy rack-side. One of the best in Portland in my opinion. She gives a great lap dance too. I believe she turned 21 earlier this month. Armani also gives a pretty high mileage lap dance. I suspect she has a bit of a gut on her since she NEVER removes the bodysuit she dances in. She'll pull her boobs out of the top during the first song and unsnap the crotch during the 2nd song. The crotch stays snapped during private dances. Other than that, she also gives a very interactive dance. If you want to get laps without the bouncer walking in you apparently need to do them in the afternoon or earlier in the evening. I've only rarely seen a bouncer back there during those times.

Good info. Strippers and clubs in the PNW seem to be try to make 40 the new 20, often with a fallback to 3 for 100. The girls at one Portland club are apparently trying to get 50 per song!

The $10 Tuesday topless dances are, as far as I know, the cheapest in the Portland area. But the last time I was there on a Tuesday (several months ago).those dances were one way contact only with the curtains open and rules enforced by the bouncer and DJ. Since you say you couldn't quite see what was going on through the curtains, maybe they've eased up on the rules. Or maybe the PLs getting dances were paying full price to get the full experience. I've been avoiding this place because it always seemed so dead whenever I went in, but maybe I should give it another try.

Five dollars in your mouth!? I hope Canadian money is cleaner than American money. I don't want to think about some of the places a typical strip club dollar has been.

Good review, especially the parking situation. It's bad for bigger vehicles. Also, I believe that girls who work DV8 or Rose City are required to rotate between the two clubs. You can find out who's working where on any given night at http://dv8.cc where there are schedules for both clubs.

Thanks for the update. I knew the happy hour prices were too good to last. My general impression is that the owners can't figure out how to make money with a strip club in Hillsboro. You didn't mention it, but I've noticed that the cover charge keeps going up too.

@Papi_Chulo Closes at 2 or 2:30. I asked the bartender and no more girls were scheduled to come in that night. Because my friend likes the place, I hang out there occasionally. I don't think I've ever seen more than 5 girls there at a time, and I've closed the place down on weekend nights once or twice. Sometimes there are attractive girls, but mostly not (at least not to me). On the other hand, if black girls are your thing Tommy's has, on average, the highest percentage of black dancers and customers of any place I know in Portland. I just wish more of the dancers (of any race) were more attractive. Regardless, if a club with four girls in the house can't keep someone on stage all the time, something's wrong. The entire time the stage was empty there were multiple dancers sitting at the bar or wandering in and out of the dressing room.
