You can still find CDs paying over 5%, just be sure to ladder them and keep about 20% in the highest yielding Money Market account you can find if you do that you’ll have a decent return
I’m not a big fan of Mutual Funds they cost too much, but you seem to have a handle on it, just be sure to rebalance periodically.

I know Seminole I’ve played there before, on of my oldest friends owns a home there, he flew down to join us for my birthday it was a blast. BTW I believe Seminole is one of the top 10 courses in the country

For my birthday in May we all went to eat at Tremontis, I had the bone in Veal Chop, my brother had the Osso Bucco of course we had broccoli rabe, and the pasta with pomodoro sauce. For dessert we all had cannolis drizzled with raspberry sauce as a treat. The following morning we played golf at the Seminole club, then ate breakfast at the club, which included an omelette station.
Free food is always the best food.

Both parties put forth candidates that are unelectable for different reasons, and instead of admitting they have a problem, the two sides arrogantly proceeded to double down on losing bets with our money and the future of our country at stake. This debate created a rare opportunity for sanity if anyone in charge has the patriotism to take the steps that need to be taken.
First order of business is for Mr Biden to quit this race in as orderly and efficient fashion as possible.
Second is the Democratic Party Leadership needs to nominate a reasonable, centrist, electable, candidate to represent them in the general election.
My opinion is if that is done properly we can elect a president who will lead us forward and erase this sorry chapter from our history.
The real crime here is the choice we’re being forced to make, a choice between a criminal and an incompetent.
