As an arch-grammarian, I should point out that arbeeguy's use of our language is more correct. But the info on ESL is all good. I wish I lived close enough to check it out (but not TOO close).

I visited briefly in the summer, and had a lot of fun at both Fight Club and Bogart's. (More fun at the latter, actually, but that was mostly because a hot but rather weird dancer at FC wouldn't leave me alone, so I ended up bolting to Bogart's just to get away from her. I think that was an unusual case, though. Next time I'm in the area, I'll definitely try FC again.)

Yes, those British Petroleum girls are very loose. They spent all summer trying to stuff things in there!

The biggest red flag is that this club is not even open on Monday. I also don't understand how the reviewer thinks he negotiated to pay $5 for "floor dances." What they have are barside (or tableside) dances, and $5 is the standard rate.

This review tells us nothing. It could have been written by anyone who has ever been to any strip club, but offers nothing specific about a visit to this club.

A catch-all account
Seems like a hatchet job. It's well-known that there are no cameras in the VIP here. Parking lot not that bad.

I'm not sure which club this is about, but there is no bouncer at Georgie's, and I seriously doubt the bit about bringing the customers up on stage and slow dancing. Also, was he there in the afternoon or at night? It sounds very fishy.

While I don't know much about the club, this appears to be an attempt by someone who has never before written a review here to slam a particular club.

If you mean Chris the Asian, she is 1) Definitely older than mid-30s and 2) Possibly the most annoying dancer in Akron. Your experience is similar to what many others have reported. I just do my best to avoid her.

Yep, that's the way that place frequently is. Then once in a blue moon you find someone good there.

Good review, but one correction: bar/table dances here are $5, not $10.

I'm not sure this is a shill. I used to think that Jen's (the old one) was great, and Georgie's was for if Jen's wasn't working out on a particular day. Now it's more the other way around, although there are still too many very large dancers at Georgie'

I agree with him that clubs should not discriminate this way.

Not a bad story for a "once in a lifetime" type experience. The danger is that you keep thinking about it and try to replicate it again and again. Soon you're bankrupt. But I enjoyed the story - don't let the nitpickers bother you.

This type of writing isn't really my cup of tea, but I didn't find many errors. In conventional writing, one would spell out "you" instead of using the text-speak "u", and one would also spell out "and" in lieu of "&". Oceans needs an apostrophe ("ocean's"), because it is possessive, not plural. Also, any time you combine two words to form an adjective, you join them with a hyphen (thus "never-ending ocean", not "never ending ocean"). Trust me, I grade a LOT of student writing.

This is an interesting discussion. I'm starting to have "friend" issues with some of the dancers in my favorite club. They are the older ones, close to my age (one of them even a couple years older). They're the ones who will come up and want to talk, and we'll have a drink or whatever. But I find that I'm not really attracted to them to the point of even wanting a lap dance. Then there's the younger generation of dancers there, some of whom are very hot and almost all of whom seem to have serious issues. So I've come up with a strategy where I'll pay one of the older ones for a LD, but instead of having her dance, I'll point out one of the young hotties and ask her to bring said hottie over. It seems to usually work pretty well. Grown-up conversation at the bar, a social drink, a little window shopping, choose what you want, have it delivered, head back to the VIP and leave happy. A bit pervy, I know, but I think everyone gets something they want out of it.

I was talking with one of my favorite strippers the other night, and she said there is a guy who has been trying to pay her $200 so that she would do this to him OTC. She says she won't do it because she's sure she could do some real damage. Plus it's a fetish she just doesn't get.<br type="_moz" />
