GB: The club is closed on Sundays. Also, the club is located near the Kalamazoo River, which was flooded over the past three -four days. The club was open on Saturday, during the peak of the flood, but road access on Kings Highway from the west was closed because of flooding, requiring access from the east. The flood has peaked and the waters are receding so access should not be a problem.

This club generally gets good reviews so it doesn't need shill reviews. It is a solid club by West Michigan standards but it is not an extras club. I attribute the lack of helpful details to the lack of experience for the reviewer.

Dancers at FC (and many other clubs) will start with a high quote in hopes that you'll be naive enough to say yes. Makes for a very good pay day for the dancer. One advantage of reading TUSCL is that you learn something about the art of negotiation, including the power of NOT spending money for an over priced experience. Often, but not always, the dancer will come back with a more reasonable price. One of the nice things about metro Detroit is that you can find three or four other clubs (although less classy) within a 10 minute drive of FC, if you cannot come to an acceptable price with any of the FC dancers.

I was there earlier on Tuesday afternoon. Talent was sparse: one thick white dancer who was not very attractive unless you find a fire plug to be a sexy shape.
One tall, decent looking dancer who never took anything off when she "danced" on stage. I use the term dance loosely. She was the most uncoordinated "dancer" I've ever seen and I was truly relieved when she got off the stage without hurting herself.
I left after 1/2 of a beer.

Highly questionable review! There is no restaurant behind this club (although there is one beside the club). You typically are not allowed in the club as a walk up-- you have to valet. Dances are not $10. Finally why post a review of a visit on December 17 on February 3? Most importantly, the club has recently be forced to remove its upstairs privacy curtains so the VIP value has taken a very heavy hit.

The reviewer failed to mention that this is a bikini club--- I've seen more skin at a swimming pool. Nipples are not allowed in Grand Rapids!

Private dance area is monitored with cameras and lights are flashed as a warning to the dancer if a customer or dancer has too much contact. Certainly no extras and very limited mileage. Talent is often pretty good. Best club in Michigan? Not in my opinion.

Good catch hotdog.
Except for changing the dancer name, most of the text of this review is verbatim from the USA Sex Guide, Detroit strip clubs post on December 8 by hardon. However, this review is of the Coliseum and the other is about a different Detroit club, BT's Dearborn. In fairness, they could be posted by the same person but with different user names on tuscl and usasexguide. However, the dancer names have been changed and the clubs are different.
Is this a case of plagiarism?

As you noted, some of the dancers finish their stage set and disappear to the dressing room, presumably to wait for a regular to show. It can be even more obvious when they have a line up followed by a dance special and none of the girls in the line up actually interact with customers and offer dances-- must not be worth their effort at the discounted prices. Sounds like poor management to me.

Not sure when you last visited Flight Club but it is definitely on the way back up, as in featuring a solid line up of talent and a remodeled upstairs and stage. .

While I respect a dancer's prerogative to choose who she will solicit for dances, I find it very disappointing that skin color would be the basis for that decision. Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but it sounds like the club is tolerating wide spread discrimination. If so, this will certainly influence my willingness to visit this club (and I'm white).

So, you can now rent a space for a "private conversation" with a dancer?? Let's hope our morality police do not declare "private conversations" to be illegal.
