Seattle - Update: New Strip Club
I feel bad for the restaurant owners- it sounds like they were somewhat blindsided, although they had to suspect their lease wasn't going to be renewed if it was up in a couple of months and they hadn't been able to work out the renewal. Of course, if that stupid 800-foot rule wasn't in place, then Jiggles wouldn't have closed, and the people who bought the Seven Seas building wouldn't now be forcing out the restaurant to open their club- it sounds like they bought it two years ago knowing the lease would expire soon and it wasn't near schools/daycares. That's not a prime location, but the city is kind of forcing anyone who wants to open a strip club to knock out locations like these. It'll be good to see more choices open up, although until they actually open up either/both places as clubs, I'm not holding my breath. I see the prudish-nanny press is already trying to paint the story of how it's not legal- sadly reporting there are no schools nearby, but happily pointing out the construction license isn't the same as a permit, and their may need to be more reviews, oh joy! Fucking Seattle...

Atlanta suburb
And then there were 6.
There's the downtown Vu, the downtown "Little Darlings" (eh, it's another Vu), the Lake City Vu, and the SafeCo field "Dreamgirls" (eh, it's also a Vu). There's also the independents, the shameful Centerfolds (a total dive), Sands (high mileage, but weird club and older women unless things have changed), and the Dancing Bare (apparently a crack whore hangout). So we have 7 clubs, 4 owned by the McDonalds of strip clubs where the women't aren't hot but have SUCH an attitudee, and 3 poorly run indies of wildly varying mileage and pretty low-caliber talent. Basically, this place is a wasteland.

Such bullshit. There is a chance that the owner, Bob Davis, will open up the Rick's building- which is obviously zoned properly, and has been sitting idle for almost a year. But still... the people of Seattle don't care about this stuff- as evidenced by the 4-foot-rule getting shot down by the voters themselves- and it's a very small and very vocal minority (and politicians who think this is an easy win and point in their favor) that tries to shut down all strip clubs. Well, there's always the escorts...

Best West Coast city for an "extra" vacation?
Thanks again for all your advise, guys, this is super helpful. CTQWERTY, I'd consider Detroit (or Houston) for the unbelievable stories, but something like this that you even wrote is what keeps me away: http://www.tuscl.net/br.php?BID=369 Even though samsung1 chimed in to say "Holly Hood" has not only a super high mileage scene, but some really hot chicks... it sounds like Detroit is increasingly dying as a city, and I just don't see myself going there. SF or COI sound like the best bets in terms of hotties + BBBJ; the downside to COI/LA is that everything is so spread out, so it'd be a lot of driving around. SF I can see myself having something to do in between long afternoons/nights at the club. I really, truly don't mind spending ~200 or so for a great BBBJ from a smokin' hot girl. I'd rather do that and drop a couple of thou on a hell of a Christmas present to myself, than to end up in some other city and be disappointed with the club scene *and* bored/scared of the city itself. It's, uh, also easier to explain to friends, etc, why I'm taking a trip to SF than it is to explain a trip to Detroit or Houston. So, with SF as my likely winner, SF veterans: is SFredbook.com the best resource, or here, or what, to find the highest mileage, best times, and best dancers (or more importantly, who to avoid as a ROB)?

Best West Coast city for an "extra" vacation?
Thanks guys- I think SF sounds like the best bet, as it's a cool city, it's a day's train ride away, and there are a few clubs that will have BBBJ hotties. TJ is probably a lot cheaper, so I'll spend time reading the TJ club reviews to see if it's worth the extra distance. shadowcat & Dougster: yes, it's a protest thing (and BBBJ isn't dangerous, but even if it were it's a free choice danger I undertake as a free individual). Sorry to get all political, but fer chrissakes... I put up with the shoes off bullshit, I even put up with the throwing away my toothpaste. But the pornoscanners and the groping? No, not unless I have to travel for a) a death in the family or b) am absolutely required to fly for business. Otherwise, fuck this stupid country eroding its rights, and fuck the government and the TSA for doing it. It doesn't make us safer, but it makes it easier for us to slip into police-state like behavior. America's not a dictatorship, but if any did decide to flip that switch they'd find the heat was on and the fridge was full. Someone recently reminded me of this line from the 1990 movie, "Hunt for Red October": Capt. Vasili Borodin: I will live in Montana. And I will marry a round American woman and raise rabbits, and she will cook them for me. And I will have a pickup truck... maybe even a "recreational vehicle." And drive from state to state. Do they let you do that? Captain Ramius: I suppose. Capt. Vasili Borodin: No papers? Captain Ramius: No papers, state to state. Capt. Vasili Borodin: Well then, in winter I will live in... Arizona. Actually, I think I will need two wives. Captain Ramius: Oh, at least. Hard to believe that 20 years ago we were laughing about how silly Russian restrictions on freedom were.

Best West Coast city for an "extra" vacation?
Thanks for the feedback so far. To be clear, I'm looking for ITC BBBJ, as there's nothing hotter for me at times then rolling into a club, getting in the mood by watching the stage show and glances back at the "bobblehead room", then picking out a hottie, and have her suck me dry (bbbjtc, don't care about spit/swallow). Rinse, repeat. I can get decent outcall escorts here in the Seattle area, but it's the UHM club atmosphere I want. To be clear, I *refuse* to fly outside of an emergency, so the west coast limitation is "where can I go by train", which takes out cities like Detroit or Houston or Tampa, which apparently have these kinds of clubs. I'd even drop a little more coin for the experience- i.e., if MBOT has *smoking* hotties giving BBBJTC but for 200/250, I'd still consider it because it's a treat to myself: getting ~10 BBBJs from pornstar caliber women over 2-3 days would be a he'll of a vacation and Christmas gift to myself! :) I'm a little wary of TJ, and of whether BBBJ is offered and if I'd even want it. Maybe it's unjustified, but the whole thing seems sketchy to me, more so than a SF or LA club.

The Sylvia Likens story is one of the absolute worst I've ever heard. Even thinking about (I foolishly read the crimelibrary story with all its gory details) makes me nauseous. The people involved- the whole family- should have gotten the death penalty, or failing that never been allowed to live normal lives anywhere. It's not unlike that story out of Seattle recently of the parents who kept their daughter locked up in a room, where she was so malnourished she had to drink dew from the curtains because they locked the bathroom from her (when they caught her drinking from the toilet because she was so dehydrated). Luckily she survived, and is apparently doing better after having her growth stunted, her teeth falling out, etc. http://www.komonews.com/news/30891284.html

Mexican Drug Cartel Allegedly Puts a Price on Arizona Sheriff's Head
Why is there a high correlation between patronizing strip clubs and being a racist Republican? I guess the kind of people who don't just visit strip clubs because they like naked chicks or sex, but because they want to demean and degrade people, will also vote Republican for the same reason. In any case "Sheriff Joe" is a shit stain on the Constitution, a sociopath who is likely in league with cartels already.. and if he gets killed, well, good riddance to bad rubbish.

Intelius co-founder charged with lying in Colacurcio strip-club investigation
Hey, I was interviewed by the police for that investigation! They had my name from a CC receipt and presumed I was one of the pay-for-sex customers. Ironically, most of the dances where I had sex at one of teh Colacurcio clubs were cash-in-hand, whereas the CC ones were as I was about to head out I'd see a friendly, pretty face for lower mileage dances. :) However, being a single guy in his late 20's, I didn't have anything to hide nor anything to lose. And while I'm not going to post these things on my facebook page, I'm not ashamed of them per se. One friend knows I've indulged in that sort of SC activity, but then he's an LA transplant who tells me that LA and Tampa clubs are pretty out there as well, so it's our little secret. Besides, what's that they always say? It's not the deed, it's the lying about the deed. So I was truthful when they interviewed me at my home. Yes, of course I went there, yes I did have sex/oral sex, and no it didn't happen every time or with every dancer, and yes I did seek out dancers already knowing which ones did or as often as not didn't provide higher mileage. They asked me about specific dancers and activities and it was obvious they had a pretty good idea of who did what (the FBI affidavit that came out a year and a half ago was practically a trip down memory lane!) and I said what I knew. I understand a few dancers had become informants anyway, so I wouldn't be surprised if more than a few hookups were with women already cooperating with the DA. They also asked if dancers ever sold me drugs or asked to be paid in drugs, I said that had never happened (because it hadn't). So this dude, Arnold, was being dumb: they don't much care about you the peon customer, but they do care about you lying because the honest testimony is how they built up their case beyond the initial charges. And from what I've heard, the Colacurios were slimebags, so I don't mind if they get sent up river for a long time and/or lose their clubs. The only sadness is how long it'd take for other clubs to arise in the Seattle ecosystem that meet the same need that Rick's and Honey's did in their heyday, of places a lonely guy could go on a workday afternoon and get teased or even blown or fucked quickly and conveniently by a wide variety of attractive women.

Strip club claims former Miss Oklahoma Laci Kay Scott's lawsuit over modeling sh
Gee, what a shock! The ignorant goombahs who are balls-deep in the strip club business- especially in NYC- are oblivious to how the law works. Yeah, douchebags, you can't use someone's image without permission like that, and you don't help your case when you claim that she's somehow benefited from the exposure. IANAL, but any imagined "benefit" the club sees her getting is immaterial, and I know that I'd certainly not want to have my image posted on some gay sex club flyer! I hope she takes them for a minimum of six figures. Strip clubs are like drug dealers: in an ideal world they'd be a healthy outlet for occassional, consensual vice, but because of our Puritanical standards and bass-ackward laws, they end up controlled predominantly by the dumbest, most violent, most dangerous and destructive people in our society.
