    Detroit
The information is encouraging. I'm leaving for Michigam tomorrow from Southern California. The clubs are one of the few attractions that make such a trip worthwhile.

    Detroit
Plan to be in Detroit area very soon. So the discussion about the clubs is one that I have been following intently. From most recent reviews, I get that the law has not gone into effect yet. True? I can only hope a court challenge will delay implementation for a while. If worse comes to worse, I will be doing a lot of driving out to Inkster (Flight Club) and Romulus (Playhouse). A lot of rumor so far. I'll just have to find out for myself. It's a sad day for Southeastern Michigan.

From "Musta123" on Penthouse Club in Detroit
It's hard to believe that the City of Detroit is that efficient, either to be checking on dancers' permits or following up drug deals. Maybe it's time for the regular pose of cracking down for the benefit of the voting public, who, as far as I can tell, doesn't give a fiddler's fugg about what goes on in the clubs. I can only hope that this too shall pass like all the past "crackdowns." In a few months things will be back to normal. This place is too much like a national treasure to be snuffed out by a bunch of bluenoses.

Heading to Vegas and need some reccomendations
CTQWERTY is not joking. Detroit is a better bet than Vegas. Has been for quite some time. Best kept secret in the strip clube world. (Or maybe not). Hey! Every city has SOMEthing good about it. I'm from California and I go to Detroit (partially) for the clubs. Although lately vice has come down on The Penthouse on 8 Mile Rd. There goes the franchise. As far as Spearmint Rhino is concerned, it's just a big black hole for your budget. Unless you're a VERY high roller.

    Best clubs in "The OC?"
As far as I am concerned there ARE NO good clubs in the OC. Waste of time and money. You can pay a lot, yes. But you will get very littel mileage if any at all. No value for the money. Go elsewhere. I live in OC and I do.

Need a current review for Players Lounge in Detroit
Oops! Dances are $20. And $5 to the house everytime you go back to the curtained area to dance. Worth it if you get the right girl.

Need a current review for Players Lounge in Detroit
The last time I was in town (August 23-27) Players was pretty much the same as it's always been - hit and miss. Low number of girls on the day shift on a Monday, rainy. Waited around for a while for something to develop. Saw a promising girl. Approached her when she got off the stage. Sorry I don't remember her name. Brunette and long legged. Pleasant personality. Got a number of dances. Happy times, and satisfactory conclusion. You take your chances at Players. Like I said - hit and miss. Girls are not too friendly unless you sit in the booths and are a regular, it seems. If you see someone you like, approach her while she's dancing. It's worked for me, much of the time. Sometimes not. Not a native, so I can't give you a day-to-day scorecard.

    LA Strip Clubs
I have been to the Spearmint Rhino in the City of Industry very often. It used to be quite good. Lately the talent has fallen off. Plus, paying $20 or $40 for a one minute forty-five second dance is not my idea of good value, especially when the dancers are not all that hot. I have been to the Hawaii Theater. Again, the talent is not that great. But you can get pretty much anything you want in the VIP with the right girl, if you can find one that you'd be willing to unload on. I have been to the other clubs in the COI but after looking the situation over, I saw no future in either of them. True, I don't get out to the Valley much. So I really don't have too much to say about that region. Haven't heard much good about the clubs there though. I believe I have reviewed more than four clubs in this area, but so long ago that the reviews have been terminated. I will not list all the clubs I have been to and have not reviewed. It is a reasonably long list. I don't think there are too many serious club goers (who have been elsewhere) that think LA is a great or even good strip club region.

    LA Strip Clubs
minnow - I have been engaging in a bit of hyperbole in designating this area as a wasteland of strip clubs. It is born of frustration of many disappointments in many strip clubs. I may have posted reviews of relatively few LA-area clubs, but since I'm a native, I have visited more than a few over the years. Some have been satisfactory for a time. But many have just been not worth the effort. After visitng clubs in other areas and making the inevitable comparisons, I just feel that LA clubs (that includes Orange County too) do not measure up with the best. You would think that they would. I don't go out of my way to visit places like Salt Lake City (cough!) to sample the clubs. And there are areas (Chicago, for example) that I believe are worse than LA. Since I live around here, I am a bit disappointed that we don't have a club of the caliber of Flight Club in Michigan, for example. I purposely avoid areas like Cincinnati or Lexington or even Austin that I have been to before and been disappointed in or that have poor reviews. LA is, to give you your point, not the worst in the country. But if I lived elsewhere, I would not come here expecting great strip clubs.

    LA Strip Clubs
LA area clubs (and that's a big area) are very low percentage clubs, as a rule. By that I mean they are very expensive and you generally don't get much for your money. The reason there are few postings is that there is not really much to post. The LA area, in my opinion is a stripclub wasteland. That's why I go elsewhere to spend my stripping dollar. Even Vegas is getting bad these days. For good strip clubs I go to Detroit, Florida (some clubs), Dallas, and Houston (although I haven't been there in a little while). I keep posted on this site where the best action is and plan accordingly. A good strip club will provide beautiful and friendly girls, consistently great contact dances, abundant extras, at reasonable prices. Those qualities are rare or non-existent in the LA area. That's why I recommend going elsewhere.

I went to the club late...
Full of errors and outright fabrications. The descriptions bear no resemblance to what actually goes on in this club. He wrote it as if it were a strip club. The cover charge iscompletely inaccurate. No such thing as a promotion card. There are NO la

    Nearly empty club
Is there such a thing as a negative prop? A rainy day? In Anaheim in August? We haven't seen rain around here in MORE than two months. Maybe back in April. We can only wish we had rain. Haven't you heard of the drought in California? And we hardly ever get rain around here in August. Makes you wonder, doesn't it?

    Run Away.... Far far away
Which one would you suggest as one of the "better" clubs in OC? I agree that Flamingo is not all that great, although on any given day you might be pleasantly surprised. I'd be hard pressed to recommend a "better club in OC."

I'm not sure whether to flag or prop this review. I notice that the reviewer has only one review. This one. I suspect he's trying to BS us all. If it's legit, I'd like to offer the reviewer some really great investment funds.
