It's not about the club, it's about the dancer. Some are worth spending $500+ and some aren't. And that is half the fun of clubbing - trying to find a dancer that fits your definition of hot, is willing to do what you want her to do, and spending an amount you won't regret in the morning.
As another poster said, girls at high end clubs generally don't offer as high a mileage as those in lower class clubs. They cater to guys who want to feel like they are high-rolling playboys for the night. Their idea of fun is sitting in a really nice club, throwing money around, and having gorgeous girls hanging on them. The only thing these guys want stroked is their egos. And there are many guys who like to do this, so the dancers at these high end clubs are used to getting big bucks for little mileage. But again, that is a generalization. I have had two great $500+ experiences in high end clubs with dancers willing to risk going beyond the club rules. I recently dropped $1300 in a club in Vegas and it was worth every penny. She was a 9.5 in my book and she split her take with the bouncer to make sure we had total privacy for an hour and a half.
The best $500+ experiences are in mid-class clubs or OTC. If you can find one of the better looking girls in a mid-class club, you can get your money's worth. But it is a challenge. The general rule is the better looking the dancer, the lower the mileage because they can move on to the next customer.
When shelling out $500+ for a private session, here's the most important thing to remember if you don't want to regret it the next day: Discuss your expectations with the dancer before you go to the VIP room. And I mean details. Don't let the dancer use vague statements like "your going to have a great time or I'm gonna put a smile on your face or we can get really naughty." It's your money. Tell the dancer how much you have to spend and what you want to get for that price. Too many guys are uncomfortable with this kind of up front conversation. But if you leave it up to the dancer, most times she will do as little as possible to complete the deal.

Subraman, don't disagree with your assessment if you are a regular at the club and the dancer knows you. I've had many local girls spend the evening with me for no additional dough and a few for no money at all. But this thread was started by a dancer asking what a fair price is. So I was responding from the perspective - a guy in a new club in a new town and not a regular. I am also assuming that the guy is not Brad Pitt and the dancer is doing it for the money. So my answer was about what that dancer could reasonably expect to get from "Joe Clubgoer". My answer was based on what I have been offered, not what I would pay.
I should have added a third category - location. Florida is cheaper than most places because of the large number of clubs and dancers willing to do OTC. The basic fact is that the Cuban girls have driven the prices way down. You can go to Diamond Dolls and get 2 Cuban girls to meet you OTC for $300. But that is not the norm.

Spillthebeans. Good to hear that COI still has some good clubs. Had one of my best SC experiences there at Spearmint Rhino, but it has been about 7 years. Also had a very interesting night where the feature porn star handcuffed me to the pole. That night ended well. But again, nearly a decade ago. Haven't been back to COI in a while. I'll have to schedule a return visit.
I've had no luck in Atlanta, but haven't tried Follies. I'll give it a go next time I'm in town.
Only been to Detroit clubs once. A long time ago went to see my favorite pron star. Had a really good time with her. She was on her way out of the business and was grateful I made a long trip to see her. So she gave me some good VIP dances.
MJX - you need to get out of the touristy clubs in Vegas. Try Palomino. Drive yourself. Act local. You should try Dean's Gold Club in Hallendale Beach, just north of Miami. One of my favorite clubs.

What's missing from this conversation is context. What is happening and with who? Those are the two biggest factors in determining what is a reasonable price.
First, what is going to happen? There are different types of OTC experiences and the price varies by what you want. I would categorize these as: 1) "just sex", 2) "club-like experience" and 3) "date night". The first category is self-explanatory - girl comes to your place and you get right down to business. Everything is over in less than an hour. The second experience is when the girl comes to your place and there is some stripping and lap dancing, en route to the sex. In this case, you get the aura of being in a club - music, sexy clothing, and gradual elevation in contact level (yes, pun intended). Finally, there are the girls that will go to dinner, dancing, or even join you at a strip club before ending up at your place.
The second factor, and a major one, is who you are meeting. Attractiveness and personality are quantifiable attributes. There are girls I would pay a lot of money to meet OTC. Others not so much. Here are a range of rates I've had offered to me: Solid 7 Cuban girl with minimal English skills - only interested in category 1 above because she would not by any fun in categories 2 or 3 - $250 for one hour. Turned her down. Club experience - 2 eastern European girls for two hours for $1000 total ($500 apiece for the mathematically challenged). One was a 7 and one an 8. They brought sexy lingerie, did some dancing and touching of each other for my viewing pleasure, then some lap dances in various stages of undress, then on to the bed. Finally, have an offer on the table for an evening that starts with dinner, then on to a nightclub, then spend the entire night. Base price was $1000 and the list of things she was willing to do was extensive. A few had upcharges, but she was very clear up front what those would be if I wanted to go there. They weren't my thing.
At the end of the day, the price you should pay comes down to how memorable you want the experience to be. $300-500 should get you basic service from a decent looking girl. $1000-1500 should get you a night to remember with the girl of your dreams (unless you have frequent nightmares - that costs a lot less). For $2000 you can get your favorite porn star. The good thing for me is that my ideal girl is different from many other guys. I'm not into the blonde Barbie look with enhanced tits and Goddess complex. I prefer a brunette with natural body and no tats. And if her eyes are blue, I am willing to pay way more.

Liwet, Yes, it was the fantasy suite. And yes, $1300 is a lot of money. But sometimes you get what you pay for. And this was one of those times. And for the record, I am not really a tourist. I come to Vegas a lot on business and over the last two decades have hit every decent club in town a number of times. I've watched the Palomino remodel three or four times. But this was the best visit by far.
TFP, I do have money to spend, but I don't just throw it around. I've been to the Rhino dozens of times. Prettiest girls in town, but I have rarely gotten my money's worth there. The fantasy suites do come with a bottle of booze included. And as I mentioned, I got 45 minutes with each session, so a total of an hour and a half. Still on the high side of the price scale. Not many dancers would be worth that, but this one was.

I don't get the attraction to Mons. There is no privacy and two way contact is limited. Odyssey is a little better. They have some private rooms, but they are very expensive. Scarlett's in Ybor is definitely the best value. Only $20 for the room. The rest is up to the girl and the value depends on the girls working that day/night. Sometimes its great. Other times there is not a girl in sight that I would want a private dance from. Great deals can be had on day shift. Kitty and Vicky are roommates that love to do threesomes. Heather is great on the night shift. Lately there has been an increase in Cuban girls. Not generally my thing, but they keep the prices down.

Personally I would not waste my time going to Baltimore. The scene is hit or miss. I've had good times and bad. The "block" is a waste of time. Most of the clubs totally suck. Hustler has a few good looking girls but was very overpriced. If you do go, my favorite club is Scores. It is a few miles from the Block, but is a nice clean club that is well run. The few really good times I have had were at this club. Trouble is that the girls seem to come and go. I've been on nights where there have been great looking girls and I had a blast in the VIP area. Then there were a couple of times that I've been and couldn't find a single girl that I wanted to get a dance from. If you are going to travel just for clubs, go to Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, or Vegas.

This is challenging since you are not really going through many "high mileage" states. On the east coast route (I-95 south), I suggest the Show n Tell Showbar in Philadelphia. They have private booths (closed doors) and you can negotiate some interesting sessions. Most of the girls are just OK, but a few 7+ girls around. Price varies with beauty. Further south, I like Scores in Baltimore. Contrary to some of the stuff posted, stay away from the "Block". At Scores look up Kayla and Eve. I suggest both at the same time. Pricey, but a great time. There is also a club south of Baltimore called McDougals. Fully nude couch dances by hot women, but the room is open so no privacy. Check out Mia Stone if she is working. There are some great spots in south Florida (West Palm Beach and Ft. Lauderdale) which offer the best beauty/mileage combination in the country, but those are well off of your route. Contrary to some posts on this board, I have yet to have a good time in Atlanta in 4 trips there. Houston and Dallas have really hot girls, but low mileage in most places. I like Rick's in Houston and Baby Dolls in Dallas. I actually prefer a place in Amarillo, but it is on the I-40 route, north of your planned route from the sounds of it. Further west, I like Lil Darlings in Vegas. Ask for Holly. It has been awhile since I have been to LA. I used to like the Spearmint Rhino in Industry, but I would look at some recent reviews.
