The Palomino just returned to the top spot on my national strip club list. It had dropped a few places over the past few years, but things have really picked back up. The number and quality of dancers was very high. They did not quite match the level of the Spearmint Rhino, but the fact that Palomino is fully nude and the private dances have more contact more than makes up for the difference.

This was one of the best nights of clubbing I have had in 20 plus years. I drove myself so they let me in with no cover. As I walked towards the bar, a brunette grabbed my hand as I walked by her chair. She asked me to go for a dance, but my eyes were still adjusting to the dark room and I really couldn't see her well enough to jump straight to the VIP with the first girl to offer. I wanted to scope out the talent and find just the right girl to take to the VIP. I grabbed a high top near the bar and ordered a bourbon while I checked out the talent. It was about 10pm and there were 20-25 dancers that I could see. Probably several more in the VIP and lap dance areas. I was approached by a decent looking blond and decided to try a three for $100 in the VIP area. I find this is the best way to "test drive" a dancer before springing for a higher priced VIP experience. If you just do a $20 lap dance, it is done downstairs in some booths with individual curtains and the girls will usually limit the contact. But at 3 for $100, you go upstairs to the VIP area where the booths are similar, but they are in a separate room with a private bouncer for security - the same area as the VIP private rooms. The girls will pretty much let you do anything up to their "off limits" point. The blond gave a good lap dance and let my hands roam freely. It was a great set, but we really didn't click. So back downstairs I went.

I talked to a few more girls. All were 7 or above, but none of them seemed quite right. Then the brunette that had grabbed my hand earlier came up. My eyes were now adjusted to the dark room and she was stunning. She was a little older than most of the other dancers, maybe 30ish, but I prefer that to an inexperienced 18 year old dancer. She took me for a tour of the VIP area. I was going to get a 3 for $100 first to make sure she was worth a private VIP room. But as she showed me each of the VIP rooms, she described in detail what we could do in each and gave me a little sample. She offered me 45 minutes for the price of 30 and I decided to take her up on it.
