Starbucks Corp. said Monday that it is closing 16 U.S. stores after workers reported incidents related to drug use and other disruptions in cafes.
Starbucks said it would permanently close six stores each in the Seattle and Los Angeles areas, two in Portland, Ore., and single locations in Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. by the end of the month.

Unless you were in a coma, you heard about the fine, upstanding Minneapolis citizen, George Floyd, who ingested a lethal dose of fentanyl and passed away after fighting with cops and being subdued with one officer’s knee on his neck. Fiery riots and lengthy jail sentences for the officers ensued. Unsurprisingly, two years on, the Minneapolis Police Dept. is more than 100 sworn officers short of the minimum legal requirement of 731. MPD currently employs 629 officers; compare this to the 902 sworn who served there just weeks before the Floyd death.
They are seeking a new Police Chief. The job listing for the open position notes, “The next Chief will be a ‘change agent,’ ready to take affirmative steps to increase community trust by improving how MPD interacts with the community.”

According to the latest Civiqs poll, only 29% of voters approve of the job Biden is doing as president, while 58% disapprove. More problematic for him is the fact that a mere 19% of independents approve of him, and 67% disapprove.

In the texts that have been obtained, Hunter refers to someone he calls Pedo Peter. There is suspicion that this a nickname he uses for his dad. Joe Biden used the name Peter when posted anonymously on the internet years ago. Couple that with Joe’s daughter describing, in her diary, how he used to shower with her when she was young.

There’s a club I go to where the personalities have a wide range. Some dancers are loud, really loud, and aggressive. Others are demure and sensual. And, everything in between.
I actually get anxious when I see the foghorn dancer is about to approach me.

One of my funnier moments was years ago when I stopped in a small local club at noon on a Sunday. There were about 30 men and women surrounding the stage, hooting and hollering, tipping generously, like a bachelor party on a Saturday night. The dancers were having a blast.
Turns out they were all tourists from Hawaii. I never found out why they were in Phoenix.

There was a time, at least 20 years ago, when some clubs would audition new dancers at a weekly amateur night. Most had already danced at other clubs but there were usually 1 or 2 newbies being urged on by their friends. Good times.

Someone finally broke the password on Hunter Biden’s iPhone. The file has been available for a while, but it was encrypted.
Newly unearthed text messages show first son Hunter Biden calling his stepmother and current first lady Jill Biden a “vindictive moron” and a whole lot worse,” The Conservative Brief reported.
The texts, which were obtained by British outlet The Sun, show the deeply troubled 52-year-old degenerate blasting his stepmother following a family argument in late 2018. In one text he sent to the widow of his brother, whom Hunter Biden was dating at the time in what is in and of itself a bizarre situation, he called Jill Biden a “selfish silly entitled cunt”.

I heard an analyst say that 40% of the companies in the S&P 500 make no profit. I think thats what a lot of the recent 20% drop in the market is. All these tech hype stocks are going down. That’s what recessions do well. Clean out the deadwood.
