In some clubs, a good looking woman would be a novelty! As for SC "acts", I've seen two, and both were a waste of time. I think the one I saw in Key West, that dancer ran for governor of California at one time.

They used to have feature dancers 4 nights a week at the Admiral Theatre in Chicago. There were quite a few acts that were very good. Julia Parton comes to mind. Nina Hartley and Ginger Lynn too.

I personally don't seek out feature shows, but I could see how an out of town traveller (or an infrequent local clubber) would peruse the newspaper (likely sports or A&E section) for places to go to.

wg- How far away from your club is "rival club"? The only comparison basis that I have would be large metro areas where I've gone to clubs NOT having a feature act that night when another club, say, 3-5 miles away having 1 didn't seem to affect crowd levels that much.

No, I don't care for these so-called novelty acts. Midgets, giants, bearded ladies - fuggedaboudit.

Features are for tourists and newbies. I remember the first couple of times I attended a Feature I was pretty thrilled. Then the excitement went away, and now they seem like a drag - a distraction - to me. But some Features do have very glitzy well polished acts. Gypsy Rose Lee and Sally Rand were famous Features from the olden days but times have changed.

She's a porn star too, and, I think, she's been on Howard Stern as well. All features do IMO is raise the cover charge at the door...nothing else of value usually...

I think features primarily appeal to people who are not regular club goers, it's an effort to attract new customers. IMO, most guys who go to clubs regularly, like most of the people here, don't care for them very much.

Waste of time, overpromoted and not fun.

I have to confess that I'm pretty "vanilla" as far as kind goes - give me a hot chick and some nice, old-fashioned oratory and vaginal fucking and I'm happy. Never was into midgets or albinos or two-headed chicks or the like. Ho hum, boring me.

There was a feature I saw once who had one of those big champagne-glass tubs, which would be filled with water. At one point in her act, she got in the tub and took a bunch of water into her vagina, and then she would spread her legs and arch up out of it and then eject the water about twenty feet out and all over the audience.

It was actually pretty disgusting. Many a drink went undrunk that night, methinks.

I'm not averse to seeing the occasional feature. Probably the absolute most beautiful woman I've ever seen was a Friday afternoon feature in a San Antonio strip club. She was a Penthouse Pet, and though I can't remember her name off the top of my head I'll just say her pictures didn't even come close to doing her justice. I've seen a few other pornstars and models as features, most are a cut above the club girls in both looks and dancing, but a bit silly with the costumes.

As for the novelty acts, no interest. 58FFF does not quicken my pulse, it makes me think of a freak show.

The first Penthouse Pet I tagged was a feature - Kia Delao, April Pet of the Month 1996 - whom I met at the Pink Pony in Atlanta. This was actually in '95, so she wasn't a Pet yet, so not sure if she counts as the first (in which case the honor would go to Sasha Vinni, whom I "saw" a few years ago as just a straight-up whore), but she was a Hustler Honey at the time, which is presumably how she was featuring.

Credentials are everything!

Anyway, she was really unusual as a feature because she was petite and slender, with nice, natural C-cups. Almost stupidly beautiful face. Also totally insane and a drug addict, but she was an explosive fuck and just crazy fun to be around - we hung out for the week she was there, me bleeding money, her dancing, and us fucking and smoking weed and drinking.
