If you polled strippers working today..

Do you think most would be ok with putting themselves out there? Or do you think most would want it to be kept under wraps?
More and more I see, I think girls are very proud to be working the pole. A lot of these girls are all over social media, face and all that. They want you to know about them. Maybe back in the day it was different but I think times are a changing.

last commentI think a lot of girls are like you say now. But there's definitely some that's still keep it hidden especially from family and friends.
I'd guess the rise of OF is responsible. Every hot girl and a lot of not so hot ones was already used to posting her whole life online for like fifteen or so years now, and dreaming of monetizing a large following. But they still hid their stripper or cam girl lives if they had them. Then came the rise of OF, and suddenly it was no longer a stigma to be naked online, because so many girls were doing it. OF success meant you had finally seriously monetized your online presence and it was no longer a stigma, more like a badge of honor. So strippers advertising themselves was a natural extension of that.
I think there are definitely still plenty of strippers out there who would want to keep that information from being common knowledge, but I honestly don't even have a guess on the percentages...
Also, even for some girls who might feel pretty comfortable about being naked, some might think twice about broadcasting themselves naked to the world, where in essence, those broadcasts (or pictures) have the potential to "live on" forever. I could see a girl choosing to be a stripper because she's totally fine with being nude "in the present", so to speak, but maybe she's unsure about how much of her nude self she wants to be visible in the future???
If she wants to be out there she’s out there. Unless she does stuff like post herself working the club I won’t do it.
IME it's a mixed bag. There are definitely some girls who do it loud and proud, including marketing themselves on social media. But there are also plenty of others who prefer to ne discrete.
Dancing is the last bastion of anonymity for girls who wish to make good money in adult entertainment without leaving behind electronic or paper evidence of their activities. While social media and changing cultural attitudes have definitely increased the number of girls who don't care about their privacy, IMO there will always be some who do and choose dancing for exactly this reason.
It seems like it's about monetization. Advertising their club and shifts. Cross promote on the club's social media. Amazon storefront and the like for commissions. Cash app and Venmo for donations. Only Fans for even more revenue. Stigma seems to take a backseat to revenue.
You know what I'll look at these roll colls online for like Spearmint Rhino and yeah there's a few who are not putting their face out there but I would say around 80% of the chicks are.
While there are a lot of OF girls out there, especially in south Florida and more specifically Miami, I don't think its anywhere near the majority of them who want to publicized. But it might approach half of them that would tolerate it. So for me it really comes down to how you define being okay with it.
I'd say it's probably split somewhat evenly along the spectrum. There are plenty of girls who are completely open about it, marketing themselves, participating in club marketing, etc. It's part of their identity and they are not ashamed by it whatsoever. There are plenty who are the exact opposite, if they think they've been captured in the background of a fellow dancers selfie, they'll go over there and ask to see and delete it if appropriate. They drive an hour or more to work to avoid the clubs nearby their homes because they want to reduce the odds they'll be recognized. And then there's a chunk in the middle, who don't want to advertise it but aren't really ashamed.
When it comes to the lineup at our local Rhino here in Palm Beach, I think it's substantially less than half. Sure, if you look at the photos quite of a few of them show their face. But, if you go in to the club you'll notice that the majority of the girls dancing are not featured in the lineup page at all. It's hardly scientific, but I've asked a few of them and the response was a very quick and clear, they refused to be featured there.
