Well, the IRS was giving Flight Club trouble about a month or two ago. Alan is 70 years old, and it is an industry in decline. Too bad it is a large corporation taking it over.

I guess the fun is about to end.
Without any knowledge of the financials, my first impression is that $11 million seems really low.

A few of us TUSCL PL’s could have put together and bought the club.
Will I still be able to listen to Billy Joel songs in the VIP?
^ You moron. Do you realize this is potentially like Applebee's taking over your favorite local upscale restaurant? This move can potentially ruin one of the best strip clubs in the US.
👽 RCI Portfolio Is Soooo Massive, There Only Few Other Really Big SC Ownerships Out There Like Penthouse, DejaVu, Larry Flynt Hustler Clubs, Scores, Centerfolds, Spearmint Rhino.

Death to flight club extras. Sad. Silver linings, all those dancers will be found right down the street at BTs and Landing strip
Might not be the end of all the fun. Read my article Uncovered, Unexpected on this site. That beauty went all the way in one of these corporate clubs. Corporate doesn't mean the girls won't cop your joint. It might be more expensive though.
Will they be selling timeshares at the club?

Hopefully the corporate people let the local manager run things up to local standards. I've never been to a Rick's that I cared for. Hope that changes.
The RCI owned clubs here didn't change much upon their acquisition. I mean, they've evolved over the years like other clubs but it's not like RCI came in to Tootsies, Scarlett's, Cheetah or Playmates and totally changed the place. Cheetah was the only one that I recall seeing a significant change in around the transition time, and they actually added a more private room that facilitated more extras.
^ Vixens in Davie, has actually improved a bit, since RCI squired Scarlets, I wouldn’t say it’s become extras friendly but they have loosened up some.

Makes you wonder what will happen to the clubs on 8 mile especially the coliseum . My understanding is that business is very slow and the old penthouse club is not being used. Flight club in the old days was rated in the top 5 consistently. For whatever reason clubs seems to be in decline at least in Detroit .maybe nationally.

Rick’s bought the entire PT chain a few years ago in like 2021 or 2022—in Denver that’s the 2 downtown clubs, Showclub (is it open again?) + Centerfold, and that one location in Glendale next to Shotgun’s. There is also a few other Pt locations in East St. Louis, Portland Maine, and I think Louisville and Indianapolis?

I was there a few months ago and it was fine, they definitely still had some lookers. I didn't see the "downfall" people were talking about.

From my experience, clubs owned by Rick's corporate are just as likely to have extras as not, I don't expect things to change on that front.
