All I heard was everything was spoken in the past tense.

Claims that a club is the best or one of the best always seem to be subjective. Like in this case, no effort to justify the claim with concrete, objective measures.

One of the fanboy statements about the owner was, his goal was a strip club "like Studio 54". I prefer a strip club that's more like the bar in Cheers.

This story is a bit stale. The Gold Club has been closed for over 20 years.

With stripping, like any retail industry, this niche exists: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conspicuou… . The front end investment is higher, but, with good execution and luck, the return is higher.
