Also, in the original Bram Stoker novel, Dracula and other night creatures had no problem walking around in daylight. It's Gingers that need to fear daylight.

BTW Gamma I think in the UK "Asian" usually refers to Indian or Pakistani and "Oriental" refers to East Asian. When I hear "Oriental" I think of either Oriental Avenue in Monopoly, or McDonalds' old Chicken Salad Oriental.
