This one is for the Massachusetts Mongers

There's a new strip club that's going to be opening soon in Mendon, MA. I was in the area a week ago and decided to take a look at how things are progressing:

The building, parking lot, landscaping, and almost everything else appears to be done. I assume it's finished on the inside, too. The only thing it needed was a couple of lights on the posts by the entrance, the main power line from the street pole to the building still needed to be hooked up, and there was no business sign yet.

The building is just under 5,000 sq ft. and everything looks real nice. Definitely not a dive bar. The owner went through Hell trying to get approval to open the place, basically fighting the town through various court battles for over a decade.

I hope it's going to be decent place, because it's closer to where I live, and I'd like to give the owner some regular business after all the shit the town put him through. I'm not expecting it to be like Desire (it's in lame Massachusetts, after all), but similar to Boardroom would be nice.

My question is, do any of you have any inside info as to when it will open? Thanks in advance.

Once I heard that parking was valet only and therefore knowing I would never go, I have paid little attention. The former Police Chief in the town is a divorce lawyer so next time I run into him I will ask him for the inside scoop. The inside construction isn't done. It will suck given what I know about local politics.

Thanks for the info, Skibum. It's taking much longer than it should to get the place up and running. I heard about their plans for valet parking, but things change, so hopefully they'll drop that bullshit idea.

The owner should have opened up shop in Providence. He would have been up and running for at least 14 years now, and he'd have a full contact club. If the town police chief has it in for the place, he can make it a very boring place to visit.

I know of many massage parlors that where shut down because local police did undercover sting operations and shut them down. Hopefully, they lay off this place, but if you're right, it's going to be tough for the owner to survive.

If they don’t do ID Scanning maybe they have a chance to get some Dolls traffic but doubtful

Hope (pun intended) they allow you to walk in (or Uber) and the cover isn’t crazy

If it’s one those lame clubs that open at 8pm, passssss

Is there any reason to think it won't be full contact? All MA clubs I've been to are, with the only exception being cabaret lounge.

I find full contact in Massachusetts to be different than full contact in Rhode Island.

The Club is half-contact, but, yeah, MA clubs have an unearned reputation for being low contact.

Brand new clubs are rare. Clubs must be closing at a ratio of 10:1 - maybe more. Cool.

Wicked Northern NH also has a new club so that's something, I guess.

If they have full contact, have floor dances at $10 and private dances at $25 or $20, and hire cute 18-25 year olds, who sit in your lap to introduce themselves, I may do the valet thing. Free lunch and a happy hour (now that that;s legal in MA) would also be fine.
