No. Very very much not the norm. I never experienced one there, but they are rumored to exist at Acropolis. If you happen to be near Acropolis, just drive a little further and go to Gold Club instead.
If you find yourself near Mary's, resit the urge and continue east for a few blocks.
Sweet Illusion: $30 for a song with one of the young ones (she quoted $40 for nude). and 3 for $100 nude with Nova (total air dance).
Stars: seems like the Caucasian dancers , at least the ones I encountered have GPS. One was 3/$100 and the other was 3/$130, maybe it was the Satruday night shift crew?
One thing I learned in Oregon is that you should always pass on dancers that up-charge over the going rate. It doesn't matter how hot they are, they almost certainly will provide a worse dance than the dancers that just ask for the going rate. It is kind of sad, because if paying more got you a better experience, it would be worth it. However, the up-charge seems to serve as a very accurate bad dance signal. Its not just Oregon either: there was a long thread about dancers at a Providence club that were demanding extra a few months back.
Also, FWIW, hotness and up-charging aren't really correlated in my experience; it is completely random.
Extras are hard to come by unless you know specific dancers but most still give at least a decent grind. Every dancer is different but your odds of a decent dance for a reasonable price will increase drastically outside of downtown and the Acrop. Downtown can be fun for hanging out with the boys and throwing some singles, Acrop is okay for a cheap steak but neither for dances. If you want dances in Portland stick to the clubs on the east side around 82nd

Where did you find an air dance?
