Centerfolds or Glass Slipper? Reviews seems kinda mixed. I not looking for a full home run but a mid mileage experience that isn’t going to cost $1,000.
No extras at Centerfold, and you'll be lucky to get out of a 15 minute VIP for under $500 (with ho tip), and that's if you push back against relentless upselling by the host/hostess (not even the dancer). It's like going to one of those time share sales deals. Glass Slipper struck me as a dump but I was surprised to see a recent review saying they've got some attractive dancers there. Tough choice. Maybe hit an escort site and spend the money you have left hanging at one of Boston's many fine bars that don't have strippers
Between the two, Glass Slipper. You said you can't leave the city, but you should unless you are wearing an ankle monitor. Just get a lyft to Boardroom or Golden Banana.
If you're in Massachusetts your choices are the boardroom or Mario's with just staying home a close third. I've strip clubbed more in fucking Utah than Massachusetts, where I live, and I've been once on Utah in the last 20 years.
Golden Banana is 5 or so miles from Boston, the Boardroom less than 20 and Desires is in Providence, twice as far. If it were my stag party, which was actually so long ago it was held at Fantasies, after the greyhound track, I would pick desires. If I knew anything about clubs in Boston I would pick Desires. If I had to stay in Boston I'd eat in Chinatown and go to bed early.
There are a lot of people on this board who can comment more on what Desire is like on a weekend night, but I'll mention a few things if you are expanding your search to Providence.
There are five clubs in Providence. Desire and Wonderland are close enough you can walk between them. Wonderland is more "urban" and make it rain by reputation, but I've never been.
Fantasies, Foxy Lady, and Cadillac Lounge aren't within walking distance of any other club, but all transit times between them all (and Desire) is low in a motor vehicle.
Cadillac Lounge sucks. Don't go there.
Foxy will have nudity on stage, and is consider the only non-extras club of the group. My last visit to Desire and Fantasies, neither had nudity on stage. You are likely to have more interaction with dancers at Foxy than Desire due to the regualrs nature of Desire.
Fantasies is in decline, but could have a few gems.
The two downtown clubs are high hustle expensive tourist traps.
The next closest club, Squire, isn't much better. Indeed given its proximity to the airport and all of the airport hotels, it is the epitome of a tourist trap.
As others have said, Boardroom in Brockton or the Providence clubs are likely your best bets. The Amtrak from South Station to downtown Providence is only 45 minutes. You could even overnight in Providence and commute back to Boston the next morning. There is also a commuter rail train between the two stations, but it is much slower.
