Just left Indy last night and was at The Pony. Beautiful women, but as a Michiganer it wasn’t what I was looking for but anyway, i thought I would never say this but ladies please if I don’t make eye contact or approach you please leave me alone. Sometimes i just want to have a couple drinks and view the scene. If I want you I will come get you. I don’t need you in my face obviously wanting money or a free drink which is expected but don’t guilt trip me or make it seem like I don’t have the funds. I do but I don’t want to spend it on you and I think that’s fair and shouldn’t be given an attitude for it.

I couldn’t count how many times girls that I have zero interest in come and sit in my face like a lost puppy. I don’t mind talking but I didn’t ask for you company so don’t get mad if I don’t spend money on you. Just let the men be men and hunt. Trust me if a guy likes what he sees you’ll know !

I guess I feel like if you're sitting in a strip club strippers should feel free to approach you. They should definitely take the hint if you express disinterest

There's a huge difference between a dancer checking to see if you're interested, and one who won't take no for an answer. The first sort is absolutely doing her job, and well. The second sort should be keelhauled.

Title doesn't really march the text. Each dancer should get one free shot at engaging you, but, yeah, back off when you politely say you're not interested. It's ok to be a hermit, even at a SC, bur if there's a stage show you should at least tip the dancers. Otherwise, you're basically a freeloader. Those dancers don't see a dime of the cover charge.

I don't stage tip very often anymore because it's just so many girls that don't appeal to me compared to the ones that do.

@manuel oh no far from a freeloader dude if I’m not getting what I want which is extras I’m not going to waste my money. Especially when I’m not bothering or harassing dancers like some guys do. If I see something I like I have no problem paying for it. I have a right to pick who i spend my money with just like women have a right to pick who they sleep with

Next time you’re in Indy go to Brads. You could tip them $100 on stage and they still won’t come. Most standoffish club I’ve ever been to.

I've decided that tipping $1 for a two song stage set is fine no matter how unappealing the dancer is to me

If I've paid a cover charge at a club, I'm entitled to some entertainment from the dancers. It's just like a bar which has a cover charge when there is a band for entertainment.

I was at a club the other evening with 4 dancers. There were 3-4 other patrons there but I was the only one tipping at the stage. I felt sorry for the girls who obviously weren't making a ton of money. I also tip more for those who put in some effort in their dances and don't just hold the pole and sway back and forth.

I agree that overly aggressive dancers can be annoying, but would you prefer that they stay together in a little group looking at their phones all night? Hard to get it both ways, so I’ll put up with the constant interruptions.
