  I wasn't aware they even charged for their info. I know they charge to give you access to their porn site. Can't say whether or not it is worth it though

  Founder is right, you can read all you want for free, and even post. However, there isn't, as far as I can tell any real information about the clubs, at least when I've checked. The posts tend to resemble the worst of the name calling bitch sessions you see on unmoderated sites, with an occasional post about the club in question.

  I went back to the site. My internet-fu was weak. I don't see anything there worth paying for.

  Once in a while, if you are VERY lucky, you can contact a specific dancer or get info about schedules, etc. on the "other" site. But it's totally hit & miss. And almost every club page eventually goes thru a cat fight phase, or some nut case customer declares war on a bouncer and that takes over for a couple of weeks. Very tedious to use, and totally undependable. Just occaasionally useful in a specific situation. Definitely not worth paying $$ for.

  I visit the "other" site now and then. All previous that has been said about it here seems to be accurate. Also, apparently anyone can delete comments, and that has happened on a couple of clubs I check on - especially when some "things you'ld like to know" about a particular dancer are posted. Sad to think those comments might be gone before you ever get there. Occasionaly there is believable info, so I continue to check.

  I've never even been sure what a "membership" on SCL gets you...besides access to some porn-type stuff that you can get for free elsewhere. You can't delete strip club reviews from what I can tell on SCL...comments can be deleted for sure though.

  There is no charge to look at the review info on SCL. I find the info to be pretty useless. The reviews are pretty much the same as the posts on club boards, inaccurate and full of bashing and agendas.

  I check on SCL from time to time for a few clubs I visit semi-regularly. I never use it for accurate reviews of clubs -- TUSCL is the best for that -- but I sometimes am mildly entertained by the gossip aspect of the site. The tone of the discussions for each club are different. For many clubs, yes, it is full of bashing and trash talking the dancers, management,and customers - anything goes. And I know one club where practically every post is from dancers exercising self-promotion of the club. A few other clubs, the bullshit is limited a bit and sometimes there are some interesting posts about certain dancers. I guess that is where it differs from TUSCL and I still enjoy reading it from time to time. Specific dancers are named. Since this forum is general in nature, specific dancers are rarely mentioned here.

  I have been to SCL once and the Pink site once. That was all I needed from either one.

  There can be more BS and drama on the SCL board than here. We seeme to be adult about things, SCL trends more juvenile. And I've noticed that dancers use it to communicate with each other locally and when they leave town. There seems to be less instance of dancers getting involved here on TUSCL. There was msome TUSCL discussion about this (dancers interacting in the forum)a few days ago. Some liked it, some didn't. While it can add some insight, for me--the fewer the better. Just bounce around the other site and you'll see what I mean. (Now my reactions might be caused by the particular clubs I visit on that board, so keep that in mind.)

  I agree with my man Shadowcat here. Although I've visited more than once, it seems to be a total waste of time. After reading this thread yesterday, I visited the SCL site and read the comments and reviews of clubs with which I am familiar. I got absolutely nothing out of it. Stick with TUSCL!

  I use both sites, but TUSCL is clearly a better value and provides superior information. The problem with SCL is that there are no barriers to entry. Any yahoo can jump on there and post anything they want. The information and reviews are filled up with dancers and owners posting about themselves and their clubs. I would not say that I am sure that that same thing does not happen here from time to time, but I have never seen it here. This is 10000% better information and discussion.
