I'm nearby TJ so going to do a quick trip over Friday night. I've been to Mexico a number of times, but not TJ.

What's a good budget range for a night?

Anyone in town?

Don't go with less than $300 USD for girls. Add room cost to that amount.

Unless you’re only there for an hour … then $200 will be fine.

I will play along and comment on your discussion and answer your questions.

Since this is your first time and you are going for one night only, you should consider this a “recon mission” to gather intelligence and see how things work, so you can go back and get a better experience.

Prepare for the worst and hope for the best. Nothing is going to be like you think or were told, everyone has a different unique experience.

Don’t drink or do drugs or do or carry anything illegal, focus on enjoying your first Hong Kong experience, relax and enjoy, don’t worry be happy.

Some people like the “party” atmosphere and drink, but the main reason to go is to take a girl if your choice upstairs (arriba) $100-120 per half an hour plus the room and tips $30-35.

Most tuscl members recommend to get your own room if you are planning to take a couple of girls upstairs, because with the discount VIP card is better than paying for a room every time you want to take a girl upstairs.

Make a reservation for m the hotel Cascadas website $220 per night on Friday and Saturday and use the Free Limo service to get there after you walk in at PedWest.

Q: What's a good budget range for a night?

A: $500 to $700 should be fine, again depending on how much fun you want to have and how many girls you want to take upstairs and if you have the stamina to perform.

Like I said, maybe just take it easy and just go to see how things are, but if you decide to take a girl upstairs have the money to do it.

If you’re on a budget Figueroa Street in Los Angeles between 65th Street and 83rd Street has some 7s, 8s and even 9s in a nice afternoon and in my humble opinion and limited experience are affordable at $140-$200 per 15-20 minutes, room included.

The paid-for-sex hobby has a degree of risk because the “rewards” are “worth it”.

Just be careful out there, like you would be in any other country, including the USA, when you search for paid-for-sex services.

And remember Pics and Vids of it didn’t happen.

:D

CJKent Give you good advice, use this trip as a recon and to get your feet wet. Get the VIP card especially if you plan on returning. I just learned from Smitty that not only do you get 2 free drinks (1 every 12 hours) but you also get a half off private dance coupon. Use that coupon to test the waters with a girl and possibly avoid a dead fish.
Being your first trip I’d stick to HK, maybe check out Chicago Club and Tropicana but as you’ll learn generally speaking HK is where it’s at.
Plan on paying cash for your room if it’s just one night in a basic room and you will also leave a $30 or $100 refundable deposit for the drinks in the room. I’ve been averaging around 120-150 including tips for 1 hour with the girls. I’ve paid as little as $100 and as much as $200 for an hour. The hottest girls obviously come at a higher price, don’t be afraid to negotiate a little but don’t be a douche bag about it.
Have fun! Feel free to message me if you have any questions. Lots of good info across the board, read up a little but as CJKent said everyone has a little different experience.
I’m here right now, be back the first week of March for a few nights.

BTW the hottest girls don’t necessarily mean the best experience. On the other hand one of my best was one of the hottest girls. It’s a crap shoot…have a drink with them and see how the vibe is before going up. Fair warning they can fake it when having a drink (don’t let them order wine $$$). It’s a crap shoot…:)

What about Hotel Rizo de Oro?

You save a little money and it seems a little less hectic than Cascadas. Any advantages or disadvantages to it?

TJ isn't the place to cheap out or find some hidden less hectic spot. Do what's easiest, at least until you get a better play of the land. Also, if you're at HK, you'll likely have better luck convincing a girl to go to Cascadas than other options.

@chugwa I think you're right about two things, Rizo de Oro is probably less noisy and definitely a little less expensive than Cascadas. And chicas from HK are definitely allowed to come there.

The only downside I see is that if you take a chica from HK you have to play frogger crossing Calle Coahuila on the way back to your motel.

With that said, I'm just back from my third trip to Cascadas, and I think next time I will almost definitely be staying at Rizo de Oro.

This is a discussion in tuscl about Cascadas vs Rizo de Oro:

https://tuscl.net/discussion/80285

They have the same owner, if I were you I would stay at Cascadas for easy access and only one night

But you are welcome to make things as difficult and complicated as possible if you like.

:D

Don’t overthink things, if you can afford to go to the Happiest Place on Earth and enjoy it just do it.

If you can’t afford it, don’t do it.

Just be careful out there.

I’m staying at Rizo for the first time this trip. Cascadas is slightly more convenient but not by a bunch. The girls have no hesitation crossing the street (maybe if it’s raining) and the ones I’ve taken up say they actually prefer the rooms (request a new room when booking) over Cascadas but that said the old rooms are still the same or better than Cascadas. The biggest plus is it is much quieter and makes for MUCH better sleep than Cascadas. I’ve also come to really enjoy the balcony for a morning, afternoon or evening drink. It’s a nice place to think for minute, meet up with people and a great view. The restaurant at Rizo, Senda Norte has a little better atmosphere imo and the food slightly better but I have no problem with Azul either. Azul is nice to look over the alley and see some of the activity.
I made another reservation for Rizo in a couple weeks. We’ll see if my opinion changes but for now I think I’ll stick with Rizo.

Back to your “how much to bring” question. Easily double what you think to be safe. I cut myself a little short this trip but I drank way more than I usually do which is what threw my budget off. Was no big deal, I needed to mix things up so I walked across Ped West and hit the ATM and came back. I used it as a recon adventure to get more familiar with things and needed a break so it worked out well.

Its actually much longer to TJ then it looks due to traffic. It doesn't make sense to drive that much for a quick trip.

I'll come back when I have more time. There's a big KAMP scene in LA. I'm going to check that out instead.
