  The NEW law makes it illegal to smoke in public places. [view link] According to the article, it was already against the law to smoke in bars. I kinda like this myself.

  I see it as a good thing too, but enforcement of it will be uneven because the venues will basically be policing themselves. If I still smoked, I would take some time to see how the establishment and the people inside it react to others doing it first because the last thing you want to do is get into a confrontation over it while you're in a different country. Especially in a country with the law enforcement issues that Mexico has.
