Pink Poodle bouncers
I'm native to the Bay Area and was thinking of visiting the Pink Poodle one of these days. I've seen some reviews on Yelp claiming the bouncers (and doorman) have a reputation for being overly aggressive with the customers, but those were from before the pandemic. I've heard management has changed since then so I was wondering if anyone who went there pre-pandemic and also went recently can weigh in on whether it's still like that or not and if the Yelp reviews were accurate about how it used to be. The only other club I went to was Sapphire, where I never even saw the bouncers. So I want to know how I can avoid getting on their bad side.Got something to say?

I’m not familiar w/ this club; but some clubs have a patdown at the door and some custies take issue w/ it b/c sometimes the bouncer may be a bit rough doing the patdown – 99% of the time, SC custies don’t have any interactions w/ club-security – perhaps this club is some kinda outlier; but again go-off the TUSCL-reviews and see what they say.
Again; I'm not familiar w/ this club - but could also be this club has a no-touch-policy w.r.t. touching-the-dancers and in these types of clubs bouncers are required to keep a close eye on that; and not uncommon for bouncers to be meatheads that don't know how to properly communicate w/ people.
1) tried to bring something they shouldn't into the club (weapon, drugs, etc)
2) tried to do something the dancer didn't want or the club didn't allow
3) be drunk and cause a scene in the club
If you are a halfway decent person you shouldn't have trouble avoiding those three things so you shouldn't have trouble with any strip club bouncers no matter where you club.
If you can't avoid those three things you should probably stay out of strip clubs unless you are looking for a fight with a bouncer.
