Here to gripe instead of elsewhere because other sites now won't take prepaid cards anymore and I'm not bucking up $50 of Bitcoin just to gripe and get this off my chest.
The scene for P4P has been changing the past few years, COVID made it worse, and inflation now made it crazy.
On the plus side, I'm making a lot more $$ than I was a few years ago. On the downside I have a lot more bills so zero sum. When COVID hit I stayed low key, but it wasn't because I was trying to be paranoid safe, it was because it was a near ghost town to find any P4P and I stopped doing outcall to my place since the experiences were a crap shoot. I held on to a couple of fantastic favorites for that but for unexplainable reason it became a ghost town with no replies. Did she get COVID? Pregnant? Find a boyfriend in Florida? Who knows. The well ran dry for me the past year and the parlors are just a sea of old ladies who want to jack hammer their way to a tip. This is all imaginary, by the way, my whole post is a fantasy and there's no such thing as a happy ending.
On with my gripe of imaginary things...
I keep looking for the good old days.
What's gone:
$40 massage places with cute younger women and $40 or $60 max for a happy ending with lots of fun teasing and mutual touch. Those are gone. Now it's $60 most places for someone's elderly maid to give a mediocre massage, try to jack hammer you out, and expects bare minimum $60 for it. Reviews most places, if any new ones show up, are now 90% fake and can't be reliable, do it's hit or miss. 3 years ago it was still sometimes hit but now it's like 1% hit and then no longer on the roster.
Upscale options of the $100 entrance fee variety massage places where you can potentially get a cute non-fat Latina, Asian or (very rare) white babe are almost all gone. They've all seemed to migrate to central or south OC and turn into IG-promoting nuru places that never have any real pictures and move around and it's not worth a crap shoot. Only a couple places in Central LA I go to sometimes just do not have the talent anymore. Went to one tonight and the new girl did not pull the trigger, first time in ages that happened, like she didn't know yet where she's working.
With my blue balls I decided on my way home that my only late option now is to swing by a strip club. But they all mostly suck in LA as most of you in LA know. I didn't feel like driving to COI and even if I did, I don't recognize any names on the roster. No idea what the talent looks like anymore. Closest on my way home is Bare Elegance which at least has or used to have hotties all the time walking around nude, a little expensive for the options, VIP is ridiculous, but at this point I'm not thinking straight so I needed a reminder of dance and VIP prices but couldn't find anything useful on my phone while driving. Decided to just go home and hop in here for a reminder. Holy shit the prices are insane and from the descriptions the quality is gone and no more nude walking around inside.
Seems like any option where I get what I'm looking for is going to run me $400 & more easily and with a lot of risk of getting no satisfaction. Used to be easy to find what I wanted for $200 or less and any day of the week, almost any time, almost anywhere.
Part of it is economy and COVID but now the best ladies just fire up a fan site and make money behind a camera. Probably also more crackdowns past 5 years. World should have been getting better but it's become a vast dry desert. Very depressing for me. The scene was my best outlet to relax from stress and clear my busy mind.
I've even tried the various sugar sites on & off and the very early days of them when they proliferated about 8 years ago there were some gems to find with some effort. Now they're full of snobs looking for gold, or unreliable, and takes way too much effort to gain traction.
Swipe apps are garbage.
The most used ho sites are just too full of LE keeping an eye that I can't risk presence there.
Can a guy get a break somewhere? I'm too old now to go clubbing solo, and I'm not looking to pick up washed-up cougars from bars.

You yourself said it; you can find some gems, but you have to put some effort.
The he paid-for-sex experience can be an expensive hobby for most people, now even more with the inflation.
You should have a good idea about it being possible and how much it costs, but… can you really afford it?
