I love Fleetwood Mac and it’ll never be the same now. I think Rumors is one of the best albums ever made, how many hits off that one? She had really unique voice, you always know it was her and I was big fan of “You make lovin’ fun” where she took point on. m.youtube.com RIP

Sad news.

I saw them live, very memorable. Rumours is a brilliant album, The Chain just edges others as my favourite track.

She sang beautifully and I agree they were a great live act.

I maybe the only big fan when Mac had Peter the Green God with them before he got swallowed up by a cult. “Oh Well”, “Black Magic Woman”, and “Station Man” were my favorites with him, but once he left and they added McVie, it defiant was a change for the better, and even better when they brought on Nicks and Buckingham a few years later. That chemistry is what enticed the Rumours album, maybe the best rock album ever created.

Great band. Loved her vocals. She was a talented musician and it’s sad to see more and more from that era pass away. Time waits for no one, I guess. RIP Christine McVie.

There’s a reason Rumours sold the bajillion copies that it has, it’s a virtually perfect pop album. While I have always been a fan of Stevie Nicks’ unique voice, there is no doubting Christine McVie’s essential contributions to Fleetwood Mac. No doubt she will be missed.

This is sad news. I don’t know the history of Fleetwood Mac, but I enjoyed her smooth voice on their songs.

RIP Christine.

I was unaware until yesterday that Christine McVie was not just a singer but a songwriter as well, penning some of my favorite Fleetwood Mac songs, like Say You Love Me, Over My Head, You Make Loving Fun, and Don’t Stop. A true talent. May she rest in peace.
