Or just ignore the law? Our leaders do, just following their example. Most Americans pick and choose what laws they follow anyhow, like a smorgasbord of shit

The law, current CA version, prohibits "contracting for sex or lewd conduct".

So the more complex the relationship between the people is, and the more this is sex in front of an audience, the harder it is to prove that any law is being violated.

Usually it is only at the lowest cost end of the market that the law is enforced anyway.

When Terence Hallinan was San Francisco DA, he took a harm reduction approach. He stopped enforcing in indoor venues, like AMPs and Strip Clubs. And yes, those were the glory days of San Francisco Sex.

But, as much as he was celebrated for that, he set a new high water mark for his enforcement on the street, and for his busting of Johns.

He could do this because he set up this Norma Hotaling program to get them to plead guilty. If defended by competent council, the evidence they had would not persuade a jury.

Hallinan was just shutting down the bottom end of the market, and most of the busts were not properly legal.

Something arguably like prostitution goes on in all sorts of situations, but it is impossible to enforce against it. The basic model of practice upon which prostitution is built is marriage.

Camille Harris was the State AG who decided that she would not prosecute sex surrogates so long as they were licensed.

Aren't people just straight walking out of stores with armfuls of shit in SF? With no consequences? They don't prosecute a hell of a lot more than prostitution

People aren't doing that. But tye point is you can't use violence to stop non violent crimes.

    They still prosecute solicitation

'Camille Harris was the State AG'

And when did she change her name from kamala?
You post like a know it all but you are wrong all the fucking time, another recent example, you swear chevy mad a production 298ci small block and couldn't offer proof, the reason why is because there's no such engine, you're wrong on that too.
you're in the library, get off the computer and go read some books and maybe you'll actually learn something.

Start a porn business. And pay your actresses.

It is usually Tennessee that tries to do this, prosecute everyone involved in making a porno movie for prostitution.

All kinds of things what work like prostitution that are never going to be prosecuted. And some of these new Private Party venues I think fall into the same status.
