When I was mongering in 2018-2019, I went to a few of these special nights (Lingerie, Bikini, Halloween contest) and while I had plenty of fun those nights, I felt those shows distract and take away from the overall vibe of the club, like the party stops (or slows down) and everyone pays attention to the contest.

I like the normal vibe at HK much more than the vibe during the contests, as sometimes the contest drags on, the energy from the Bargirls is low, and you can hardly understand the DJ.

i might be there. it will be a month since my last visit. the parties are some good and some so so. usually not a draw for me.

Pleased to report I had a nice time in Tijuana this week. Arrived on Monday afternoon and left Thursday morning. Got to meet Jascol - he's a really nice guy. I had no issues whatsoever getting in and out - though I did have to wait for almost 2 1/2 hours before I was able to cross back into San Ysidro by foot (I've gotta try to get Global Entry for the next trip; that would definitely save a lot of time.

What time did you try to cross back? That sounds like an insane wait, but I've only ever been once.

I arrived at the border at 9 a.m. and didn't get back into the US until about 11:30 a.m.
