No, it’s not what you’re thinking, you filthy minded perverts.
Anyone else interested in watches? I think from now on, when I get the inevitable “what’s your hobby?” I’m going to say “I’m into horology” and see how that goes.

I know a guy who repairs antique clocks. He sometimes loans his talents to museums and preservationist orgs. If you were to hand over your clock to him today, you wouldn't get it back for 1.5 years because his waiting list is so long and there's only a handful of people who do that work at any level, let alone his level. Nobody has that kind of attention span anymore.
He makes pretty impressive money, as well.
I like watches. Some of them are very cool looking - and some are impressive creations.
Some can be very expensive and showy - which aren’t so interesting.
I’ve been a horologist for years, my collection includes a Patel Phillipe a pair of Rolexes as well as a Baum & Mercier, among many others, I inherited quite a few old watches including an original Waltham and a few others like a Gruen timepiece from about 1910. Fun hobby and interesting as well
Nah. I'd rather study whores !
I'm a student of horology but I try to avoid the lying thieving hors.
I have a pretty good watch collection. I have a few expensive watches but am more into unique styles and older watches. I have a real soviet submarine watch.
