New Atlanta strip club: Pink Pony South . 22,000 sq ft opens Nov. 29th.

Will be checking it out Thursday or Friday night. I noticed they are only open until 1:30am which is kind of early. Maybe they will push their customers over to The Goldrush or Crazy Horse (both of which are owned by the same company as PPS) which are open until 3am. Doesn't sound like my kind of place (a little too upscale)but you never know until you try out the dancers. Speaking of which spent Friday at PP in Columbia now that is my kind of club.

"The Pink Pony South has carefully hand selected the Creme de la Creme of showgirls to entertain ..." So why are they advertising for dancers?

Sounds like the kinda place I'd avoid like the plague. I'll give it a 4 - they probably do have some attractive girls (Atlanta places usually do) and a nice physical plant. But you can bet they'll be grossly overpriced and have low mileage. Makes me wonder where the money comes from for something like this. Drugs maybe?

trogangreg and I both know that it is not our kind of place (email) but there are very few choices on the south side of Atlanta. So we have to at least check it out. I see that I have another convert to my favorite club.

This is a great business model designed to separate the tourists staying at the airport hotels from their money. I'm guessing it will be like the other Pink Pony, where the mileage is about -0-. Not sure how many locals will be looking for an upscale strip club between the warehouses and truck stops in Forest Park. There are much better clubs in ATL.

Tim, you may be right but until one of us checks it out, we won't know for sure.

It will certainly be interesting to see how this endeavor works out. I passed it on I-75 last week and even though I am an Atlanta resident I would have somewhat of a difficult time finding a road to get me there from the interstate. I guess they are looking to attract patrons from the airport who will arrive by cab. Also I have a hard time seeing a sushi bar and fancy steakhouse making it in that heavily industrial area. Anyway I have always been disappointed in Atlanta strip clubs (air dances, etc.) and I don't expect this to be any different. I'd rather make the drive to Columbia,Sc. or Huntsville, Ala. where I aknow I will enjoy myself and remain under budget.

snowtime: Ask Santa for a GPS. They are a wonderful toy for finding places that you have never been to before.

Oops it will not be opening as scheduled. Website now states Murphy's Law "Whatever can go wrong will go wrong". Check their website for new opening date. They are still hiring. I wonder if they want to pay some of us to hang out for the first week and give it an air of legitimacy? We are professionals when it comes to strip clubs.
