Undo a mistake or redo an opportunity

Strictly in your mongering life.

I think when I look back I kick myself more what I didn’t do then what I fucked up on despite a long line of fuck ups. But I present it to you and you don’t even have to elaborate. Would you undo a mistake, have that cash be put in your hand right now or get to jump on something you passed on that you could’ve had and get it right now.

Undo a mistake and get the cash. With that cash, I can pursue a new opportunity.

I don't think any of the opportunities I've missed have been of the "rainbow unicorn" variety. I look back on most with a resigned shrug and not much more.

Extend a work trip pre COVID to hit FKK Sharks. Fortunately I'm a patient man.

    I don't know. I don't think I consider much to be mistakes.

Missed out on doing VIP with a porn star because I was too intimidated or thought I was too good to spend that much money.

I'd be shocked if most guys on this board didn't have something that, in hindsight, they wish that they handled differently. We've all paid some tuition. Three I can think of, each of which happened when I was young and even more stupid than I am now:

    1. One night in a club in Beantown where I bought multiple champagne bottles just to cozy up to a girl. I was following the lead of an even dumber friend who was in a crash and burn stage of his life. What a waste, especially during a time when I couldn't really afford to drop $1,500 on club adventure.

    2. A night in one shitty club in Covington KY (don't remember the name) where I let them ring my Amex up for a lot of money until the girl finally finished her HJ. Alcohol, horniness and youth all played roles.

    3. When I was clubbing in DC one night when, rather drunk, I decided to ask a waitress if she knew of any girls who gave LDs outside the club. Yes, I actually asked a fucking waitress, who reacted as one would expect.

Fortunately soon after I found extras clubs to slake my young side urges and learned to leave my card behind until I got a little older and developed a greater understanding of club dynamics. My total tuition in the early days was likely under $10G, but this was during a time when that sum meant a lot more to me than it does today.

@rickdugan: "A night in one shitty club in Covington KY"

    They're all shitty in Covington.

I paid for Champagne rooms for myself and my boss using a corporate credit card - so he could authorize the expense. We were traveling on business, and I was a degenerate drunk. I got back to my hotel room - and began dialing for whores as I emptied the mini bar. I luckily passed out on the floor before I got a whore to come to my room.

The cost of the mini bar was close to the price of the strip club rooms.

The next morning I was a total mess, and I thought I could keep it together. It all fell apart when my boss stopped by as we were traveling to the airport together, and he saw the bottles from the mini bar all over the room…

In the words of the great sage of White angst: "If I could take it all back now, I wouldn't. I'd go back and do more shit that people said I shouldn't. "

This happened last Friday. I thought it would be ok if I showed up at the club when both of my Current Favs were working. Damn! I was wrong!

One Fav was cool. The other, not.

Twice in my life I chose Commitment over New Pussy. Expensive mistakes.
