SoFlo has a healthy SC scene - the good clubs are never dead.
Tootsies and Diamond Dolls have fallen a bit out of favor w/ many TUSCLers but they are still fairly popular - other popular clubs are doing very-well and pretty-much at pre-Covid levels.
Go ahead and thank Governor DeSantis, the clubs down here are doing better than anywhere else in the country. The quality varies from club to club. Some seem to have the some staffing problems (not sure how since FL isn't paying people to sit at home [thank Gov. DeSantis again]), while others have never been better. Check the recent reviews to plan your trip and Vote Republican!
Verdict things are better but it’s still recovering. The East Coasters are kind of ruining the chill vibe. Everything is a bit more expensive than it used to be in the past. Tons of Cubans but what’s odd is the amount of milfs at all clubs which I would have never have guessed.
Hopefully things return to normal after the new year but Covid seems to have permanently changed clubs for the worse.
I don't know that I would describe the clubs in south Florida as recovering still. I think they've changed.
It's been getting more Cuban further north since before COVID started. Many of the Cuban dancers don't like the Cuban customers, so they work a bit further north. I have noticed some older dancers too, I'm with gammanu in that they haven't been MILF's, many are the same old chicks from before that have just been sitting at home getting fat and smoking so they age 10yrs in 1. Basically MIWF.

I am headed there next weekend. Clubs were awesome 2 months ago and I expect even better this time

I went a few months back in the summer and it was dead expect only Cubans.
Nothing against Cubans, just not my type. Hopefully things have changed.

I strip clubbed in so fla in aug 2020 and 2021 and had a blast. Seemed like less cubans to me, but who knows.
