In most major cities there are major groups of clientele that should have a club or two that primarily cater to those groups. I know I’m college when I took marketing they said “Do you want to be something to everyone or everything to someone.” When there is a lot of competition it’s best to define your target market. I’m not that old but I’m a middle aged accountant. My tastes tend to be more closely aligned with the older crowd.

I think the private party membership model is the way of the future. It gets you around most COVID neuroticism. And CA-AB 5 destroys gig work and it is likely to spread. It gets you around that. It gets you around all public sex and lewdness laws. It does not get you around the prostitution law, but political support for that is weak, and in such an environment it is extremely hard to enforce.

So with a safer environment and a culture of maximum mileage, and for those who want it, maximum mileage in the front room, the women will probably just open up completely. So the money will flow and you will get lots of young hot girls with large breasts.

The issue is that the club should be pushing the legal limits, as Follies was, as old S.F. MBOT was, and as the old S.F. Market St. Cinema and New Century were.

Most all of the legal risk has gone out of running strip clubs. So that was when the brave soldiers of the Mafia came in, to be followed by Deja Vu.

Elderly Caucasian gentlemen aren't an important demographic when it comes to strip clubs.

This forum is the only place I've heard of them being so vital to clubs.

From what I've seen and what girls have told me. They're cheap. Don't like buying girls drinks. Don't come in often. Usually show up when their social security check hits and look for girls willing to let them grope til they have an ldk then they leave. They Usually come during day shift. At night they act scared and paranoid and rarely stay long.

Most of the strip clubs I've been in tend to be carbon copies of each other with very little variation in them. Here in Indianapolis the only variations are a few black clubs and a few clubs that try to be "upscale". "Upscale" often ends up meaning they charge higher prices without providing a better product so that ends up not working.

One local club, Brad's, does play classic rock on day shift and has a good number of older customers coming in. I've had some strippers there on the Brad's day shift tell me they do better with old guys. Some girls have trouble selling lap dances to young guys in groups. The girls I've known who do the best with old guys are often the more friendly type. A lot of old guys, like myself, worry that the strippers would rather be with young guys their own age and don't want us old guys there. Them being friendly to us signals to us they want us to come in. Girls with children to support and girls who are working their way through college also tend to do better with old guys because they are a little more serious about making money and therefore are more willing to spend time with older customers. Also, girls with children or pursuing an education often seem a little more mature than the "let's party!" type of stripper so older more mature men feel more comfortable with them.

When they dance for young guys, they tell them that young guys are their favorites, and old guys suck When you're good at sales, you convince every customer that they're you're number one customer.
